  1. Glad to hear you finally received it. Time to start building .
  2. Hey Freddy, the thigh ammo pack rivets are to be at the top corners. Most GMLs today will most undoubtedly notice and ask you to correct the issue before approving you for 501st basic.
  3. So far looking good . Get suited up so we can get the full view.
  4. SWAT vision, not everyone has it lol
  5. Nice work so far. Regarding the pack keep in mind weight will play a factor when you troop. Sticking with the lightest components is key.
  6. Love it Also if you're shooting for SWAT don't forget the "T" track wiring on the blaster.
  7. Absolutely, so long as they're correct on the outside
  8. Jeff is correct on both points. For the sake of argument here's a reference pic of the stunt helmet.
  9. I was trying to figure out if it was because of the curvature of the cod.
  10. Looking good Kyle. Though not a deal breaker by any means the center front belt boxes should be closer together. Here's a reference photo
  11. Not sure why you would loose the notch. Removing an equal amount should result in the same line.
  12. Only if needed regarding cutting the top of the calf.
  13. Just replicate the original line. Return edge is not required.
  14. Look in the build sections for "shim"
  15. Very clean work Jeff
  16. Congratulations Jeff
  17. Only the wrist side removal is required at the higher levels
  18. Remove it all. Your glove will be your comfort.
  19. I was once told by a mentor and former DO that if the build is balanced between the limbs, this includes larger material surface space required for larger troopers, then it's a go at all levels of approval. The key words here are "larger surface space required for larger troopers" and "balance between limbs". That does not mean 2" of space between your body and the armor.
  20. If your arms require the space then yes its allowed though it would look better if the cover strip was evenly placed
  21. If I'm understanding the above concern correctly, the accuracy nuts can hack away at their straps if they so wish, for everyone else it will not hold you back at any level. Shoulder Straps OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): No visible rivets are allowed. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): These shall free float in back. These shall be glued in front. The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece.
  22. Un painted male snap post on the exterior of the armor is correct. There's is no color requirement at any level though silver or nickle is most common. Level two certification (if applicable): Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor. Snaps do not need to be functional.
  23. Understood. Only reason I brought it up was because I can see the seams/gaps. Maybe they're just not completely sealed in the photo. So long as they can't be seen you should be ok.
