  1. So.. much... pressure.... I know what folks mean when they say they stare at the box for a month before cutting anything. I swear I'll have updates here soon
  2. *Ghasp!* No stock catch box thingy under the butt! Nor power cylinders. I think what Rubies did was acquire the SW Rebels show's 3d model and just printed it. Not bad for just painting and drilling. With a little tlc you could make it look even closer (like shave down the tracks a bit and open the scope rail etc.)
  3. I'm looking at the Evike site and I now see there was a cruddy action version that I'd heard bad things about, but now they sell the Matrix/beta version which is much better all-around. I want one now. $250 isn't that bad for a steel airsoft not to mention it being the base for our guns. Only thing is you can't open them up and add electronic pew pews (I have an imagination tho)
  4. Fun box, oh fun box, small and square and dark! (Fairly Odd Parents, sorry). That's some lucky geography. What kinda shiny new blaster is that? Also make sure to keep CRLs and build threads handy for comparisons when making big cuts
  5. That ear is really thin, especially on the leg/stem/non-circular part. If that covers your right seam then I'm impressed lol. I don't think it's "too thin" but you could leave a little more meat on next time. Kinda looks like a hero ear rather than stunt. Good idea to keep reference pics handy for comparisons at every step. Seriously good job on making that particular fitting lol you should look at the Anovos right ear, especially from behind.
  6. Actually I didn't realize your butterfly guard doesn't look quite right compared to pictures. I'd open it up s'more, it kinda flares out at the top. Oh I see what you're saying about the screw
  7. Ears can be difficult, leave way more than you think you'll need when making your first cuts on them. Can't use the lines on the ears as guides, like you can on the eyes. And it's not the end of the world if you have to order more ears. You seem on-track so far
  8. Disney has their own incarnation of electronic E11 too. No standard mod kits for it yet, but lots of the pipe completion kit pieces fit. PM me if you're interested, there are a lot of choices tho! Get what will be best for your needs (I need electronics! Pew pew!)
  9. "This is madness!" I'm imagining the philanthropy stemming from these kits alone will be a substantial addition. Assuming they are any good in the first place😄
  10. We all had no experience when we started. Lots of experts here to help at every step. Someone else here said it best: unless you're a doctor/lawyer/etc. and your salary equates to your time spent being worth more than the price difference, you should probably get a kit
  11. Anyone ever considered/seen this? I kind of want to do it just to see it
  12. If it's a precursor to Dark Forces, culminating with the first level, then that's an amazing idea. Hear that, world?? Dark Forces Zero on PS4!!!
  13. New chest piece incoming at no additional cost. A+ service once again. I guess I have an extra chest piece to incorporate into my Rebel Legion jedi costume. Okay! Time to start... somewhere!
  14. I saw that somewhere, would be cool to get a real barrel for an aluminum pipe build, but it's not quite everything you need in a completion kit
  15. TK Boots will be worth getting on the waitlist, but Imps are supposed to always be in stock if you need them soon. (No personal experience with either)
  16. Thank you for this!
  17. Looks like I'm not missing any pieces: One small thing... He gives you a cool little pin to sport, which is nice: ...but it was packed with my chest piece face down on the sharp side of the pin with everything else on top of it. So there's a deep cut in the middle of my chest right out of the box. Not so nice: Grand scheme of things it won't matter, but maybe put 4 sq. in. of bubble wrap around it next time😠Nothing else is looks scratched and I can dremel-buff ones I find. So I'm happy with it, especially for around the same price as Anovos' kit. The back plate and other details are sharper than I expected, plus I wasn't expecting hard hand guards (Queen's are already in the mail). Am I in the club now?😎
  18. lol.. I agree. Definitely looked at pictures of screen-used lids before asking. Old pictures make it hard to determine whether white seen on vocoders is from flash (meaning semi-gloss) or from missing paint exposing white plastic without the vocoder paint reflecting much (meaning flat). And SOMEBODY here had better know!😄 I'll just stick with 21 for everything but mic and vocoder, thank you Gaz.Where else should I ask if not this thread, considering its title?
  19. Anovos "classic" = ANH stunt 😎 Yeah, not even they know what'll end up coming with their kit, so I also think anyone choosing them as their first armor should wait to see 1) what they'll give us and 2) what needs to be replaced before accumulating the odds n ends. My ATA just arrived (!!!) so I have been doing so for that set. Electronics in helmets are usually functional, like fans to keep cool and microphones or even speakers too to be heard. It's fun to add realism that way, and lots of folks combine that with pads and black paint/cloth to look like the visual encyclopedia
  20. Should be easy to add those. Front sight looks good, where does the other screw go?
  21. I have my ATA armor kit arriving today--super excited! And I should get a DVH ESB Promo kit soon, as well as my flexible hand guards from http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/user/3770-sonnenschein/ I'm waiting until TKBoots gets back in production, worth the wait I've heard.
  22. Interesting, so not gloss 21 on vocoder for ANH centurion? Just rather do it right the first time 😉
  23. Aw, that's quite a misprint but don't worry. I'm sure it's rare and that you'll get a free new pair soon. Mine looked spot on but I haven't taken them off yet. Gonna do the white undercoat today actually
