  1. I just now bought a DVH ESB promo kit from a member here which comes with a rail attached to the sight but also has extra pieces compared to ANH. Google image ESB promo E11 and you'll find some promo shots as well as builds from members
  2. Or for mobile I upload to photobucket, click the chain link looking button and copy the "img" link "for forum use" box on the bottom and paste it directly into a post. Have fun
  3. You can probably leave the cap alone, it's pretty close and let's the speaker be in its original housing. But then again you have 3d powers so make it a perfect 83% scale replica of you want😎 For the rail I meant like this: http://stormtrooperguy.com/ultimateE11/ where it doesn't connect to the rear sight, instead there's a downward 90 degree bend just before the sight and they bolt it to the tube. I'm starting to think that each screen used E11 was unique in some way😄
  4. Right, thanks again! I'm doing a cheap alternative to a romFX or iComm using the Disney TK voice changer mask, if you couldn't tell
  5. Wow extensive fix but worthwhile for the payoff. Before/after fit test pics will be funny
  6. Can't decide, seen positive reviews and many endorsements for each producer. Please feel free to leave feedback if you have first-hand experience. I need a neck seal (with or without bib) and a thinner holster for a lightweight trooping blaster. I'm sure they're all nice, I'm just trying to find the best combo. Thanks all (especially the makers!)
  7. Parts look pretty good. Might wanna keep a few good screenshots of a real modded Sterling for placement reference; the nozzle is supposed to be behind the folded stock screw/rivet, and the butt cap is supposed to almost touch the stick catch, so good job improving it. Won't need your back iron sight insert since the scope rail fills the space instead, or are you doing the rail variation seen on the Hasbro toys?
  8. Great news that it'll work (assuming I can solder it properly), thanks for the feedback. What kind of popping are we talking? Cause the stormtrooper mask board I'm using doesn't make any click before you speak, so that wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me (unless it's damaging to the circuit or speaker)
  9. Yeah, depends on how long the zipper is. I'll just get one from the UK that's specially made for TKs
  10. Wondering if I can take a board with a little PTT button (like a toy blaster trigger button, for example), rip off the button and solder a female 1/8 inch audio jack to the connectors and then plug an icomm PTT male 1/8 inch in and have it work? In other words, do I need a special PTT female jack or would any audio jack work? I'm looking at the non-icomm PTT from voicebooster.com (says works with anything but icomm) And here's the jack I'm thinking: http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-MHE310-Headphone-Adapter-10-Feet/dp/B00BGDMIOG Thinking of cutting the male off and using the female side's wires to connect where the other button is currently connected.
  11. Ooh very dirty, looks dramatic. Good job
  12. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ARAJX9W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1431310921&sr=8-1π=AC_SY200_QL40&keywords=tomsuit+lycra+spandex+zentai+unitard+catsuit&dpPl=1&dpID=31161Q7xPOL&ref=plSrch Are we allowed to have zippers up the back? It says you can order it with a little front zipper too if you need. Doesn't seem to have any outside markings. Maybe
  13. Guess I got lucky at $21. I can't find any location more specific than "North America"
  14. So now it's Vietnam/modern era instead of WW2/Korea guns? Now I'm expecting deagles with big Han Solo scopes. I'm another tall trooper so that sounds like fun to me, regardless of gender. I'm svelte as hell
  15. No expert but I doubt any maker would refuse an order for one. I assume each brand has (minor) unique features just like their other pieces in terms of pull sharpness etc. Look at the Vetted Sellers list and fire off some emails. Shouldn't be too expensive regardless of who you end up picking. Good luck with everything
  16. Yeah, great attn to detail for a trooping blaster as you say😄I'm inspired to get a doopy lug (genius) and read a lot more about the 5 styles of power cylinders. Keep it up
  17. I'll definitely document it in a build thread. I'm most concerned about the elbows, wrists and knees showing too much. I'm sure there's a solution
  18. Shouldn't there be a bottom right t track (ejector side) or is that the Tunisia setup? I keep looking at the butt cap (flat) and the overall silhouette is fatter. Does look pretty great tho, much better than what I've got my hands on
  19. Haven't sought opinions since I'm not done, I think once we have a complete and painted example we could all post pics in a "what say yee?" thread about them and the higher ups can chime in
  20. Thanks, that's a good one. Those few extra inches on me should be fixable by splitting the ab and cod under the belt. I feel better now, but I'll still have to see just how big the gaps will be
  21. Nice work. Will surely use as reference. Congratulations on being accepted
  22. I ordered a nozzle from Shapeways.com for like $9 and its finish (metallic plastic) is perfect for Sterling parts. Only thing is that it's hollow, but still about a mm thick everywhere. Extremely sharp resolution too, just by looking (don't know the specs but it's on their website). There's a plethora 😎 of choices once we get the files. Exciting business.
  23. I'm tall and skinny but went with ATA anyway. I'd like to take it to at least EIB level and that means closing lots of gaps. I recently had some pretty extensive spine surgery which added about 2 inches to my torso, so now I'm even farther away from the ideal morphology than I used to be😅 I'll post pics of me holding pieces up to myself showing exactly what the "before" looks like once my kit arrives. I tried to find relevant build threads but came up with none quite so tall without also being too girthy (no offense to anyone, I'm like a twiggy alien man: 6'4" 160lbs. 40in chest, 32in hips, 12in bicep, lol etc. cause I had lots of Dr. recommended down-time and just started working out again) So! I read that AM chests n backs are big but no good for centurion? Any suggestions on brands featuring longer parts that could then be built to my thin frame would be appreciated. Pics incoming (once Xmas in May happens!)
  24. Normal ptt for speaker, hand to helmet for radio? Cool dude
