  1. Also to note that the part we have been shown as per the video, is different in shape to some of the screen used blasters so it's certainly not consistent.
  2. Congratulations on your EI approval and looking forward to seeing you at Centurion Jonathan.
  3. Pretty exciting when new things are talked about.Nice work Joseph on your detail upgrade, of course after approval any one can add these greebies to their blasters if they wish. As we go for a standardized look, not sure if we would add then to the CRL's unless we can get better information on what some of the parts are, but that is a discussion we can certainly have at some point.
  4. Congratulations Guillermo and Greg, well done troopers and welcome to Centurion rank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This is the detail on the side of the blaster
  6. Way to go Jonathon, looks like the right mesh now.
  7. Also good to note, EI and Centurion are purely optional as is the need for a blaster at basic level. Nothing to stop anyone from still building to the highest level so they look the best they can
  8. Nice progress Sam.
  9. This topic has also been raised in the past. As it has been so rare of an occurrence it is taken on a case by case scenario.
  10. Excellent work Jim, congratulations on Centurion rank.
  11. Goes without saying, I am very much looking froward to your next update posts.
  12. Well Tino, the term "Blown away" is not strong enough for the remarkable job you have done on this project. I am sure there will be plenty of members inspired by your build and ingenuity with this thread. Personally I am above and beyond impressed by your workmanship and attention to details.
  13. Thats going to look awesome when finished Zach. Take Glens advice and use Imgur to share your images rather than a link, our forums are driven by photos of projects so keep us up to date on your progress.

  15. Hi James, this is a pretty old thread but to try and help answer your question, if it is a 3D printed helmet and you are looking for something that sands very easily, consider wood putty or window seal putty. Much of it is water based so quick dry and very easy to sand. After that i would consider a filler primer in a rattle can. You could also use a spray putty, but because it tends to be thicker, you may well lose some smaller details, like the side ear markings. Primer filler is great because it is also easy to sand and can be painted directly over.
  16. For Sale trade section (Detachment members) all old post save a couple on page 1 archived, most were already done so. Have changed to green on list.
  17. You have made this quite the habit lol, another huge congratulations Ardeshir, looking fantastic and passing with ease.
  18. Looks awesome Justin, you have done a marvelous job with this kit.
  19. I think you can save it Ian. If you have some scrap ABS you can use it to create a backing patch to go inside the shin. Then fill that melted recess with Bondo and sand it smooth. If you have no scrap, you can buy A4 size sheets of 1 mm thick HIPS on ebay which I have found very hands to reinforce the back of cracks in my armour. because it's thin it curves and bends easily and I usually use CA glue to bond it behind the surface that needs repair. You got this.
  20. Wow Jonathon, just wow. Beautiful clean presentation. Good luck but I don't think you will need it.
  21. Just back on the blaster, it is not a requirement for basic approval to have a weapon, so you have some time up your sleeve even after approval to find something suitable.
