  1. The armour was very asymmetrical so left and right were different shapes. Hot water bath would have been the way to go before the halves were glued together. If you have used E6000 then you can pull the cover strips off and wrap the halves around something round and tie up with twine. Immerse in boiling water you have just taken off the heat for around 30 seconds to 1 minute so the plastic slightly softens, then hit it with cold water to reset into a rounder shape.
  2. No that has been printed without enough wall layers. On smaller items or narrow items they should be printed for strength either solid or with at least 4-5 wall layers thick. From that image it looks like it was printed with only 2 perhaps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Never stopped playing it :), and have updated to the Celebration version.
  4. Excellent build thread, its getting close to completion and can't wait to see you kitted up in the final result.
  5. Excellent, its good gear, and you are welcome.
  6. You've got this Curtis, plenty of members here to help.

  8. I have used Novus for years and it does well at keeping my armour shiny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. We may end up with the Tread speeder driver yet, I know not quite the same, but would be good to get at least one costume out of the last of the arc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. FYI I have added Caution spoiler ahead to the title of this post. There is plenty of juice in this thread and there are always some that like to go into a movie with no preconceived ideas. Carry on.
  11. Ahh awesome, yes very sweet kit, keen to get one myself.
  12. Same with the fin on the spat.
  13. Is this SLA printed or a resin cast? looks pretty clean, very nice by the way.
  14. Nice work Andy, what took you so long All done for you sir.
  15. Great to see you got stuck back into this build Mike, and its looking very good indeed. Make sure to take any sharp corners off your cover strips with a bit of sand paper, also do the same with all your return edges and anywhere you think you may get two pieces come together and pinch you while wearing your kit. Armour bite is a fact of life with trooping but you can reduce the damage it can cause to you and your under suit by rounding off corners just a touch. I'm sure you will find a few areas that can cause issue once you get your first troop or so down. Keep up the stellar work
  16. You are most welcome Craig, it's what we love to do.
  17. Thank you for bringing this here Adam, warning other members of bad business practices like this is of great help to the community. Sorry to hear of your unfortunate situation and we shall look at adding them to our buyer beware list.
  18. You certainly made great progress. The side rivets are only a minor set back. Simply reposition them as per the info and diagram Joseph has supplied. ABS paste is easy to make and does sand back and polish up very well. You got this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This is getting exciting now, I expect to see the BBB photo very soon
