  1. you can contact him via facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jim.tripon
  2. I submitted my pictures two weeks before celebration Anaheim. By the time I got there, I was approved! So if you hurry up, it might even be possible
  3. I'd say it depends on how your armor looks right now and how much you can do on your own. But if you got rid of the yellowing, I guess you're not work-shy. Like Alan said, just make some pictures and put them in the Pre-Approval section. I got approved with my FX kit, 3 years ago. And it's still possible.
  4. As soon as those 5 troopers confirm, you'll be the next Master Armorer
  5. Now it leads to the index page, I think that's better
  6. Thanks a lot for that overview, I've pinned it in the builds section
  7. Your attention to detail is amazing, Jeff. ( @11b30b4 ) This build is coming along very nice and is definitely top notch. Sehr gut! Nevertheless, I'll have to move your thread as most of the other build threads. There's a subsection for build threads in the R1 forum Continue with your good work! Looking forward to see this done and approved!
  8. Congratulations! Looking forward to see pics of your first troop.
  9. Great Job! Looking good in your shiny armor.
  10. some of those parts look like my old FX armor. especially the thighs and the abdomen plate. If all gaps and holes are filled it's still not a high end armor, but definitely something to work with. It won't be easy but don't give up!
  11. in our squad we have a black military style shirt with black/silver patches of our squad and our garrison on the shoulders. Additionally our name badge and/or command patch on the chest and small colored strands on the epaulette, depending which rank you have. Our TK-ID is stitched in the collar. I suggest you talk with your unit's leader about a uniform run. If there's no existing design you can probably come up with a simple one, like we did. I just assume you're a 501st member, otherwise ther will be no way for you to get that uniform... (If you are, please request 501st access here!)
  12. did you use a different browser?
  13. Congratulations! I love travelling and it's really helpful if you're in the 501st, you allways have someone to meet and have a beer. Trade some patches, talk about different armors and so on. We're like a huge family that is spread all over the world. Welcome!
  14. I still enjoy every collectible merch I got from you I hope sometimes we can pave the way back for you. You've done an outstanding job over all these years of service.
  15. should be fine now
  16. @Sprocket & @Neb Sgird moved the topic to the right section
  17. It might help to contact your local Attaché and ask him out about different makers. I wish you all the best on that journey and good like to find the helmet/armor you deserve.
  18. thanks for the warning. Here is his ebay profile link: https://www.ebay.de/usr/cassini_sunset?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 He's already listed on whom to avoid:
  19. moved this thread to the correct forum section
