Looks to me like you were under pressure. I always recommend patience instead of rush. Your thighs just seam to be too long. And even if you can find one single reference pic with the thighs like this... There are a lot of reference pics with broken or loose parts - that doesn't have to make the armor better only because you copied screen accurate goofs. I recommend leashes around the heel to get your shins lower. They are not produced anymore as far as I know. Sometimes they appear up on eBay, where they come from recasters. If you are lucky, you can find a used one in one of the forums. Also the stormtroopercity armor is very similar to FX, since their molds are based on the FX armor.<br> Anyway I recommend buying something else. FX is stable and cheap, but everything else is better on all the other armor kits.

1. This is impossible, because the lower part of the abdomen (crotch) is split at the FX. If I put the belt higher, you will see the gap. 2. (the upper layer is made out of canvas and) it should be possible to tighten it up a bit. 3. I think the only changes I have to make are... Plastic square buttons on the ends of the plastic belt (therefor I have to make the belt slightly longer) Change the attachment of the thigh ammo belt and make it rounder grind off the integrated T-track on the blaster and drill a new row of holes instead. Can anybody see anything else I have to change? //Edit: Oh - forgot about those two little guys:

I've heard of some troopers attending a toys'r'us event. When they arrived, somebody showed them around and took them to their dress room. In the dress room some costumes were prepared for them. Really cheap carnival costumes that you can get for 30$. Toys'r'us didn't know that the 501st guys have their own costumes

The brackets width is 38mm from one screw to another. But does anybody know if the width of the bigger brackets is the same?<br> And what height are the brackets? Or do they all have a different height, because they were handmade?

I know this thread is nearly two years old now, but since I finished this project one year ago, I wanted to share with you what I did. I gave my shoulders a new form, I shortened my chest plate, I replaced the shoes and the helmet, I glued the sniper plate on in the correct way, I changed the strapping, I replaced the handguards, my mom sewed a new belt and I made sure, everthing fits properly. As far as I know, people are just not sure if the original was french blue or mediterranean blue. So chose your preference, both will be accepted for 501st. (So it's not depending on the Episodes)

I can not tell you what to improve yet. Even for me it's still not enough practice with the App. But I will long time test it at celebration Anaheim and afterwards I will tell you which issues I found. Danny

had some funny moment today connected my phone via bluetooth with my car and started streaming music. once the music was stopped - troop talk beta activated itself (without being in multitasking or in forground) and everything I said was given out over my cars sound system. With static burst

i got a pink Aker MR1505 - it costed half of the black one i guess it's equal what amplifier you buy as long as it works fine And LordNikon's App is great - I use it to connect my bluetooth headset with the Aker

I got an Aker MR1505 it's placed under the chestplate...

I don't know why, but now it works with my bluetooth headset! Unfortunately, there is a terrible feedback, even if I wear the headset under the helmet But the app stays on with locked screen

My Android phone asks me automatically not to lock if I connect a bluetooth headset. //edit: Just recognized, my bluetooth headset doesn't run with the app. I can only use the smartphone microphone :/

I thought about all this many times. I have an Aker MR1505 and bought a cheap Bluetooth Headset (Jabra BT2046) and I also have an 1.5mm-Audio-to-Bluetooth adapter. Problem is - the bluetooth headset AND the bluetooth adapter have auto pairing, but can't find each other. I can pair both with my smartphone. So now I need an app which bypasses my speech from the headset to the Aker. (bluetooth-audio-IN to bluetooth-audio-OUT or bluetooth-audio-in to 1.5mm-audio-OUT) I tried "SoundAbout" (Android-App) but couldn't figure it out. Any suggestions?

This url was printed on the package of my FX armor I bought on eBay a couple of years ago. The Helmet and the armor are regular FX (Recast). Quality is not that bad, but I guess FX Recasts don't have to be discussed...
