As I've mentioned before, I'm doing a Boba Fett ROTJ as my next costume, and I'm well on the way with it. Here's what I've done so far this weekend (I have loads of other parts done, but I'm not gonna post all of it) Hehe. Oh, and this is scratchbuilt by yours truly ;-)

As a soldier myself, I wouldn't mind something like this getting into the market (legal market that is). Although it still is fair bit away from being employd in combat, it's still something sorely needed to protect groundtroops better than what we have available now.

Or you can do as I did, just paint them freehand. It´s not really that difficult.

I was just watching The Phantom Menace with my kid today and suddenly "WOW!" How did I not see this before?! When Obi-Wan Qui-Gon and Jar Jar look out the front of the sub, they´re seeing out from the inside of Vaders mask.... Check it!

You use the iron to "bend" the edge of the pieces to give the illusion of it being thicker (and also more screen accurate on some armor types). -

I'm also fairly happpy with it! If you like the idealized look, which I know No'l does, it's a perfect lid :-) If not, it's still a great lid for a good price. Mind you, it will cost you some to upgrade it.

Well, I'm well on my way to the asylum...done one TK, working on a Boba now (which won't be a budget version...) and considering a Jango and a clone as well... And probably loads more... I'm screwed

When you've a couple of coats of primer on, you need to sand and wetsand again! This will make it nice and smooth for the next layer. Use at least 400-600 grit wetsand paper.
