    Weather?

84 today in Phoenix, Arizona. The weather has been fantastic here for the last few weeks.
  2. I'm not a big Fett fan, but that is truly some impressive work you have done there!
  3. D-MAC is a member on this forum, he has access to knee pads that are mostly only available in the UK and ships to anyone in need. Usually only one set is needed, and you will most likely have a small amount left over. You can follow this link to his latest thread: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=5653 Good luck with your project.
  4. Thanks Nathan, that would be fantastic! STAR WARS EPISODE IV : A NEW HOPE STORMTROOPER STUNT HELMET
  5. It's under development by a government contractor (Protective Products International) for law enforcement SWAT teams and Special Forces entry teams, it's made up of moulded plates over kevlar padding similar to Hockey pads except these are bullet proof (more or less, armor piercing rounds not withstanding). The concept illustrates articulating plate armor which extends onto the should/biceps and forearms. High speed low drag non ceramic construction… it is not in production but it is not that far out. The chest and back have icreased coverage compared to the industry standard ’shooters cut’ ceramic plate. The military/LE can't wait to get their hands on this, but I think the boots on the ground won't help but think what a bad day they'll have if the technology falls into the wrong hands.
  6. I don't know if anyone else has seen this yet, it is a new type of LE/Military prototype armor. It grabbed my attention because of similarities it shares to our own plastic cocoons, this shouldn't be too surprising as scientist have been fact out of fiction for years. Look out Dark Troopers, I think your about to get re-fitted.
  7. Daetrin, even with your own kind act I still didn't get on the list, but I think that was very generous of you to let it pass to someone else. Thanks I appreciate it, even if I didn't gain from it. Congrats to the winners, what a great way to start the new year.
  8. I doubt there are any left, but I would love one!
  9. Apparently I am gravely mistaken and can take my foot out of my mouth any time now. Nice work on your find, without using your link, I still wasn't able to find a link on their web site. Anyway I'm glad you found what you needed.
  10. To the best of my knowledge Hyperdyne doesn't post their manuals online (an oversight if you ask me) so hopefully someone can PM you a copy, otherwise you can email them directly at support@hyperdynelabs.com for assistance. Sorry this probably not going to be as quick as you would like. Good luck.
  11. Good eyes on the find Eric, I've spent hours looking on the web for those with no luck at all. Next time I'm looking for something I'll check with you first.
  12. The knee pads are very common in many parts of Europe but non-existent in the US, I have found them on the internet but none of the companies will ship out of the UK. Check with D-Mac, he has a thread called "Helmet Padding interest check", he ships to the US, it takes about two weeks to arrive(give or take for the holidays).
  13. Darrel, I too only recently found this thread and am saddened to hear about your loss. About 15 years ago I had 2 near death experiences only days apart, it left me very traumatized. For over several years following the incidents I would visualized how people could become injured at almost every personal encounter I had, playing different scenarios over and over in my head. I only mention this because your statements about having difficulty driving and thoughts being funneled were some of my obstacles as well and it brought back memories. Unfortunately I told no one at the time, and I think the healing process took much longer than it needed to. Your feelings do not make you a bad person, or a weak person, they define you as a caring and loving individual who misses his partner deeply. It is not my place, but you may want to consider seeking out a grief counselor or or talking with a minister, they may be able to help guide you through your grief. Through your journey you may find that feeling better does not mean forgetting, and healing is learning how to accept traumatic experiences and to continue to live an exceptional life. God bless.
  14. I'm sorry did you say thermal or thermos detonator? Nice work!
  15. I sure hope my first build looks nearly as good as yours, great job!
