Sweet that it's pretty much trimmed. Painting my first helmet was harder than I thought. That vocoder can be tricky *, though IIRC someone made a sweet template. * In the end my wife did it - she has better hand/eye coordination.

My belief is that innuendo, side accusations, complaints in other areas, etc. is not conducive to the mission of a detachment, which is to provide a place where all members can feel comfortable and that the boards are drama free. I would prefer that if there is a disagreement that it be discussed on the 501st only area so that we can hash it out openly, and everyone has a chance to weigh in and clear the air. I don’t know when thing changed, but these days so much 501st business – and this isn’t just FISD but other 501st forums too – seems to be done via PM, private FB group, etc. whereas in the past I had a lot less PMs/emails about Legion business. Life is too short to stay in a place of bitterness, resentment, and negativity.

If you have evidence to back that up, bring it. Else it just comes off as petty and immature.

Good Chewbacca's are very rare. The body isn't the problem, many have what I call "lipo lips" - way too big for the mouth. Wookies I think are probably the most expensive costume to get - $3000 to $5000 for a good one.

Spot on, which is why the trooping requirement is once per year. We have people in my garrison who attend troops numerous times a year photographers, spotters, wranglers, etc. but only costume up their required 1/year. They actually attend more troops than some who purely costume. But the salient point is what you raise, the hobby is a big one. Some like trooping, some building, and some socializing. There is room for all, so why not appreciate everyone's contributions?

No worries. I hope it encourages others to start documenting - there are a lot of people who have helped out a lot of people. It's good you all get recognition for your contributions. Trooping is easy, building armor, not so much.

Just so everyone is clear from a timing perspective: November: we wrap up any last changes to the TFA/TLJ/TLJ-E and R1 TK CRLs. December: our CRL focus will be on L2/L3 for TFA Phasma and getting the TLJ Phasma complete. It will be a Phasmatastic month. January: this will be the next window of opportunity to make any changes to the OT TKs CRLS for the term. So this is a great discussion and a good expectation is to have whatever agreed upon changes written up and ready to go by end of December so that they can be worked in to a January update.

Thanks - this is interesting news. For KB yeah there was some bad stuff posted on the 501st boards (they still exist, not everyone lives on social media ;-) ). It's too bad - he's a good dude and seemed was getting shafted.
