Actually you may want to swap out those FX thighs for RT - they will fit you better. Terrell is also a taller trooper and it would be good to heed his words. I think you'll be an easy pass for 501st - the tweaks we're talking about I used to call "liner notes" when I was a GML, e.g. you're in but these are items you'd want to tweak. Once you have 501st I think your Elite should be smooth.

So far so good. They do scuff and you can see telltale black marks underneath. I haven't had to re-dye yet, but I'm not trooping as much as some these days, and to be honest don't mind the few scuffs as you can see them in screen caps as well. The upside is so far no yellowing. I love my MC's, but they have yellowed a little bit. Then again, they're 8 years old...

Did you read some back posts in the boots threads? You can always get a pair of Jodhpur boots from Barnstoormers, etc. and paint/dye them white. This is how the originals came to be, and what I and others have done. Will certainly ensure you get a pair that fits, for less money too.

Geez - we should rebrand Smitty as our unofficial Deployment Officer ;-) I can't add anything other than what Smitty offered, but you're certainly at the point to apply for 501st membership through your local garrison. You can apply for Elite as soon as you have your TKID. You look good in armor - can't wait to you join up. Lots of pesky Rebels running around, need some disciplining.

Yes, our Vader loves it and can't troop w/o it. I think Jim just runs extra hot, but he's also our trailblazer for keeping a TK cool I once strapped ice packs to my chest/back when I did a Vader, but I wouldn't recommend this for a TK.

No worries - I have the same issue. The current FX thighs are very short in the back which makes it harder. As we said you've done a great job with the suit and you should be happy. These are ideas for when you get the itch to tweak it some Terrell - that shot good enough?

I say get your butt down to the detention center - large leak and very dangerous - they need help pronto! Terrell has the better eye but I think you look great. At some point you could continue to tweak the costume by pulling the thighs up and maybe tapering the bottom. If you wanted to get anal you could always to the chest/bell rolled edges mod. A few other minor tweaks if you wanted to go Mike H. crazy... but ah, for now I just want to give you the 16oz salute for a job well done! You look super and I say a pass

I am pleased announce that VaderDave is the new Merchandise Officer. Welcome Dave!! I'm sure you all know who he is, as he's done quite a lot of merch for us in the past. Wyatt Stephens (TK4205) will stay on as Armor Chief. There is now a more clearly defined role for this position and I'm confident he's up to the job.

Yup, just like the black ab plate buttons. The ones that come with the FX kit are now disallowed per the 501st CRL, so he should either include correct ones or just stop including them entirely.

Considering that there is only one ROTJ Elite, I'd be open to changing the standards depending on what exactly is being proposed. I can say that removing Hasbro for Elite is off the table for now.
