  1. Congrats man, awesome. My concept is coming along, and I have some great ideas for strapping. Totally cool on your approval...
  2. Hey Austin, how long did it take for CG to approve your armor? Your build looks very nice. You did well fitting it to your frame.
  3. Check MEPD for the pauldron too, it might be MTK, but I think there is another fella making them.
  4. Ok, so i trimmed down the bicep and forearm pieces, made them fit better and took of the overlap edge to butt join and install cover strips. Also started playing around with the weathering, the rough cast of this recasted armour should give a nice texture to the trooper... I thought this would go a bit faster, but i have a few other projects going on as well as curve balls in life. Nevertheless, this will be fun. No turning around now....
  5. I'm on my iPad and it is large as well, the photos will not advance either, I have to back up and view each pic individually, can't use the arrows to advance frame. Also some of the pics seem to be half high def, and half low def, weird, the pic is almost split in half, nice and vibrant on top, misaligned and blurry on bottom.
  6. MD-7001FT Roxy Display , $129.00 , it is ok, I have seen a bendable display that would be ideal. These were fairly inexpensive and readily available. I am 5' 7" , so yes I am short, I guess, but this armor makes me stand tall and proud... TM is awesome, good luck .
  7. Yeah, one will go on no problem, the other has the foot support through the heel. I had some socks on them, which was ok, but kinda looked silly... How about painting the feet white...lol...
  8. TrooperBay saves the day...
  9. Thanks fellas, I appreciate that . I have a few other projects in the works and will add to the collection later. Now I wanted to reiterate , this kit was constructed by Paul , Trooper Master himself. It was a pleasure working with Paul throughout this build, both planning and construction as well as delivery. Paul was very thorough and always answered my questions promptly and with very educated answers. All went well, and I also received a helmet kit, to give the lid a go myself. I will be starting a build thread on that soon. That lid will go ANH. Thanks for looking, and if your in the market for a fully constructed suit, look up TM, you will not be disappointed ....
  10. My army is growing... My RS TD, on The Left, My Shock Trooper in the middle, and the ESB TK from TM On the right.
  11. My Brothers truck, we always call the Stormtrooper... Need To Get some White boots, and a proper blaster. This IS fantastic. Thank You Paul, You are awesome....
  12. Got Home late last night to a Killer Surprise on my porch. This Armour is Beautiful. I am beyond stoked. My Brother... Funny Guy... Ok, I'm Just going to soak this in...
  13. I would think Trooperbay would have some of this stuff, also, look on MEPD. Lots of dirty goodies over there. Good luck.
  14. Getting all the Velcro of this thing, man it was really on there well. Getting the adhesive off today with some Goo Gone, thanks to Terry "Pandatrooper" , for the guidance on that. I started with a bit of weathering , or should I say ' rotting battle damage ' , out of curiosity , it turned out pretty cool and I must say I am getting excited about the transformation..
  15. That is going to be a fantastic kit. Good luck Kev...
  16. Nice "customization", way to be resourceful. Isn't it so true , sometimes ya just gotta dive right in.... Nice Work D....
  17. Spot on, really detailed thread. A joy to watch, read, and learn. Thank you for keeping such a thorough thread...
  18. Starting to pull the Velcro off of the JR to build the DT, the adhesive is really on there. I am reluctant to try different things , as I don't want to disintegrate or compromise the armor. I did try alcohol, that didn't work. Tried a bit of mineral spirits on a small section, to try , and it did better than the alcohol, but still wouldn't pull the adhesive off. Does anyone have any tried and true tricks. Much appreciated.
  19. Maguires Ultimate Compound, I have heard them (EPiC) rave about that stuff.
  20. Thanks Toddo, I have a concept coming together.
  21. That is a cool idea. I heard a story, of a fellas Steampunk TK, it was pretty interesting. The TD I am replicating on MEPD , Davin Felth, has a pretty cool back story, that's one reason I picked him. Interested to see how your story unfolds...
