  1. Looks really cool Kev, looking forward to this Kit...
  2. Cool, fantastic job... Seriously ordered up some materials today , going to sacrifice my JR kit...
  3. I think also, for basic approval, the JR strapping would be ok, now step up to EIB or Centurion, then you would need to have the accurate strapping . I am not 100% sure but hopefully someone will chime in and help us out. Notice how everyone stays away from JR, even the posts about it... Like its infected with the plague or something...lol... That's why we gotta make it a DT, cause its infected. My JR is on a mannequin display in my office. I still like it, pristine and shiny... It still makes me smile. It's going to be hard to kill it , but its going to be so cool...
  4. That is a good looking set of armour. I would have been tempted to leave the TD shiny silver. Good work improvising. Your strap placement looks like it was made on the Death Star itself, right out of the imperial factory. Nice work Peter ...
  5. Trooper Bay, MTK search for him on here or on the web. He has lots of goodies, and a reputable vendor. I would imagine that the straps do not need to be screen accurate for approval on a DT. But it wouldn't hurt to ask around. My kit fits well also, but I have just enough room to cut off the overlap, then butt joint, and add a cover strip. You Got me really moving forward with this build... Of course, you could build your own straps. Buttons, strapping and such.
  6. Nice Build. Anxious to see your strapping system.
  7. Good find Matt...
  8. Great.. Thank Mathias.... Now I have another board to geek out on...
  9. I don't know about yours, but mine has plenty of "slack" so that I could trim the pieces, and assemble correctly. All I need is some ABS cover strips. As far as the chest , ab, back and cod, we would need to split the back , then assemble with rivets ,, straps and so forth. Not really a big under taking when you think about it.... Lets do it...
  10. Are you going to have your drop boxes able to open? Taking advantage of their usable space? I love that idea.
  11. Two words... Death Trooper... I fell into the JR trap as well. I rectified the situation buy purchasing an RS kit, then went for the crown jewel, TM... I have seen a Rubbies kit quite recently get EIB, but it looked like it wasn't easy. I have been entertaining the idea of modifying my JR, but, I'm really leaning towards the DT... Just my $0.02
  12. I have also heard to try and fit the armour with your under suit , if you fit it with regular clothes on , it may turn out a bit too loose. Looking like you are on the right track though.
  13. Coming along nicely Diana, nice thread....
  14. I cant stop looking at your thread, I am so tempted to do this with my Jedi Robe Kit....
  15. I'm in the same boat my friend. Waiting for TM. I was hoping all we had to do is put it on, and submit for EIB. Sweet...
  16. Fantastic. What a thorough thread. Lots of hard work pays off in the end with a smile...
  17. Looking cool Kevin , looking at reference photos , the trap seems to have more of the round shape, as I'm sure you know. My opinion is I like the green and the red lines. The green looks more like a regular TK, the red and black have more of the McQuarrie feel. I'm sure which ever way you decide to go, it will be awesome. Fantastic work as always...
  18. Sick, literally infected. Very inspiring .
  19. Are you supposed to have a one inch space between the. Holster and belt? And what of the slight overlap on your right side ab and kidney plate? I'm not 100% sure but those things caught my eye. Looking very nice, looks like your almost there...
  20. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/user/1330-slavefive/ Try Lewis, I got a DLT-19 from him, very fast .
  21. Fantastic Peter, Looking Really Nice, Perfect Placement of those rivets too...
  22. Try ordering it built by RS or TM, a bit more $$$ , but they know exactly what they are doing.
  23. Looking good Marc... That blaster is starting to take shape nicely . Keep it up...
