  1. I share every video of ruffian kangaroos fighting in the Australian streets that I can find on Facebook and tag a certain someone who, hangs out here. He assures me that they're not in his neighborhood. Repeatedly.<br><br> As for a question, since I've been all around the planet, I've come to find that pizza toppings differ very greatly in different countries, so... That's the question: what are the popular or common pizza toppings in your country?
  2. Yes, please get some photos up for us! Very excited to see what you're doing here!! (Moved to the ANH E-11 section )
  3. Looking good Preston! Nice work.

I used a two-part epoxy from Harbor Freight for my DoopyDoo build. I also put pins into some of the parts to strengthen the bond. I've had (knock on wood) no breaks or parts come off of it in just about two years that I've had it now. You can find my build thread linked in my signature below, and be sure to check out the FISD E-11 Blaster Reference by clicking the link (also found below my signature) below! Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask if you've got questions.
  5. You will be very happy with Shawns audio system! Especially with the ear buds. as for mic installation locations, if you can manage to place them behind the ear bumps, and drill a few small holes in one of the ear bumps, that's probably the first place I'd recommend. Next would be the traps, behind the brow trim, and if those two won't work, then I'd say to go for the ends of the frown. To me that seems more problematic, because of the proximity to your own mouth, but many troopers have them there and swear that it works fine. Mine are in the traps. Keep trucking along! You've got some great support there in the Canadian Garrison, that's for sure!
  6. Very sound decision!
  7. Looking great Aaron! Keep at it, and you nailed it with the wait after the BBB arrives. LoL.
  8. Tapatalk is the best bet from the iPad. I have the same issues.
  9. The only stigma about having someone build it for you that I'll get into is this: please, please, PLEASE, if you opt for having someone else build it for you (besides the maker themselves) ask here publicly before you send anyone any money, just to be sure that there are no known issues with the person you're thinking of paying to do it for you.
  10. But yes... I'm certain there are more, price unknown, but I'd guess that a few will exceed the mentioned $1,500.
  11. Like I said "at this point in time, we've seen four different kits produced." Amongst the staff, I've only seen/heard of those four. We cannot recommend or advise on what we don't know about. LoL
  12. Congratulations, Stormtrooper!! Get your Legion access requested here, and start the real fun!
  13. At this point in time, we've seen four different kits produced. Two (that I'm presently aware of) have had Legion members approved in them (ANOVOS, and Jimmi - mentioned above). <br><br> When it is finally released to the public, I do not expect that the ANOVOS kit will meet your pricing requirement. Jimmi does. Also, your height is fine for a Stormtrooper. <br><br> The other two kits that we've seen thus far... One was definitely accurate enough, probably met your price requirement, but was a relatively short run. The fourth that we've seen was simply not as accurate as the others.
  14. The Hero/Stunt Handguard "titles" were essentially adjusted to normal and alternative style by (I do believe) our very own Sonnenschein (Karin - the Queen of Handguards) a good while ago using many screen-references which showed the various styles in use in many different scenes, as Germain pointed out above. The CRLs make no mention (either Hero or Stunt) of a different style of guard, merely the material used in creating them.
  15. Brian nailed it. There is cheap, or there is good. Your best bet is (in my opinion) to reach out to your local Garrison of the 501st, and see if there are members who have the armor who are willing to support your project. It is highly unlikely that you'll find the numbers that you're looking for in most Garrisons at this point in time yet, as there are only about 140 of them approved world-wide in the Legion's 80+ units. Where are you located?
  16. Looking good Carl! Of course, I knew that already. LoL. I've had no issue whatsoever with the plastic cracking in the shins. The hooks have to be reshaped from time to time, but my plastic is fine. I know of an RT-Mod trooper who used larger hooks, and put eyelets in the holes to protect the plastic, so there are options, even in doing it the original way.. Keep at it!!
  17. Try again Pierre, you are over five posts now.
  18. Looking good! Keep at it.
  19. Excellent work everyone! Thank you!
  20. It should only be five...
  21. I'll second the Echo fans. They are what I use in my helmet also. You can find them here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24372-fs-helmet-fan-system-echos/
  22. Awesome news, Jes! Definitely looking forward to your eventual build. There aren't many Incinerator Troopers out there (I'm actually assisting with a build of one at this exact moment) and they are very sharp looking for sure. Maybe I can convince this one to post a build thread... Hmmmmm... At any rate, I'll be following along to see how things progress for you. Keep working on that weight loss... That's a move that's ultimately far more important than which armor you're building.
  23. We've all been there, Gary!
  24. Positively brilliant!
