Hyperfirm blasters are great if all you want is a blaster to hold and troop with for photos. It can be dropped without any worries of damaging it so great for letting kids hold it for photos. Can't add electronics, details are somewhat softer than resin blasters. No assembly required, one rubber piece.

The Phoenix blaster is the king of e-11 blaster kits. Certainly breakable if dropped but the details are crisp and it looks like the real thing! Assembly required but lots of great references to use on the FISD including the Blaster reference linked in my signature! You can customize the blaster in many ways as you like but a straight forward assembly and paint still looks stunning.

Building a blaster is tons of fun and very rewarding when its complete. Hope that helps.

Radio shack super ear
Bulldog44 replied to Paul.kennedyjr's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
Yeah, I was nervous putting the polarized parts in but lots of second, third, fourth takes at the picture helped gaining confidence in doing it correctly. Google images for this kit and you will see a few other angles that might help too! Good luck! -

Sorry I don't have a walkthrough. I was puzzled at first when I first opened the package but after looking at the diagram for a while I was able to see how the resistors are color coded and their placement. Not too bad if you take your time and reference the front picture nd look at the diagram. -
Transporting an E-11
Bulldog44 replied to DroidHunter's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I use a tool box with foam padding inside. There is still some extra space to carry smaller items like the neck seal, gloves, and electronics. So far so good. It can take a hit and keep my blaster intact. I also place a lock on it or removable plastic tie wraps to make sure it doesn't pop open if dropped. -
Beautiful work on this! Weathering looks great and electronics added make it amazing! Rebels won't stand a chance!

Nice work so far. I thought to use my dremel for cutting the rail but found it more controllable to make cuts with a small metal hand saw. I then cleaned up my initial cuts with various grated metal files. I don't have a workshop and the dremel kicks up big mess so I could afford to coat the furniture in aluminum dust! Plus I had a few close encounters with removing some serious flesh!
Good luck.
Your blaster is already starting to look like a mean fighting machine!

Nice work on the selector switch and the end cap lock. I used the stereo jacks for other connecting parts as well such as the charging handle, stock , and the magazine release. They hold up well and no worries of falling out or wear from turning. -

First time build questions

For blaster kits, check out D-Day's Phoenix resin kits, ( awesome detail), DOOPYDOOs resin kits.
Ready to go blasters, hyperfirm e-11 made from rubber, THG props makes them too.
Also a new maker around is diamond state props, a prototype is being made at the moment of an e-11 but go to their Facebook page and see the progress. They make polyvinyl blasters of all kinds made to order. https://www.facebook.com/diamondstateprops

More places to look but these are just some check out that are most common. Good luck! -
I haven't done any repairs with cracked parts and think that over time any mend will only result in the damage to resurface.
Contact RS and explain your situation. They will definitely be able to offer you a replacement shoulder bridge. It might cost a few euros or they may even send one for free. I would request a pair of shoulder bridges just in case the color is slightly off.

I recently purchased a B grade DLT-19 and was thinking of trying to fill in any imperfections and then giving it a fresh new coat of paint. What filler/bondo would work best for this and what kind of paint is safe to use on a hyperfirm? If any members here have any expertise doing this, please let me know what to use. Thanks!

New DoopyDoos E11 with T-Jays finishing kit

Nice work on the end cap! Looks like the real thing. You positioned the d-ring holder slightly raised from the cap and that tiny detail completes it! Excellent work! -

Thrawns Guard's ANH E11 blaster build
Bulldog44 replied to Thrawn's guard's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Check out chapter 20 / post#22 in the e-11 blaster reference. And chapter 31 for the detailed blueprint of the rear sight. I tried to make the exact parts for the rivet effect but ended up just creating a cosmetic effect. The middle Pin goes all the way through but the outer rings , I just hammered some thin aluminum piping to create the round donut contour. Hope that makes sense. Just by looking at the reference photos inMod A , you can see what I mean. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/?p=414383 -

Pretty amazing mod on the scope and the magazine release knob. Your scope with the prisms installed might be the first of its kind. I admire your effort to push the limits on what can be possible. -
Joe's Doopy Doos Build with T-Jay's finishing kit
Bulldog44 replied to JoeySaurusRex's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
No worries on the hole. As Tino said, the green stuff will be the key to patching that up and whatever else needs filling or reworking. You could even try creating a segment of t-track out of some PVC or extra chunk of resin if available, then fit it into place and seal the seams with green stuff. Off to a brave start. Looking forward to seeing your build progress. -

That is a cool idea for adding a spring to the trigger! Keep up the great work on this blaster! -
Thanks Michael. Tino's build was the inspiration for many of the mods and I am glad you have been following his. As seeing your build progress with new ideas introduced , it is another great reason to build another e-11 !

Great work on the cylinders. I love the push button idea for the magazine release. That mod alone is a masterpiece! Wish I had thought of that for mine. The scope looks spot on as well, nice paint work. Your attention to detail is making this blaster build one for the record books! Keep up the great work. -
Thanks Joseph. I trimmed off the neck ridge just past the fracture. I will add that extra backing of plastic as you recommend. Good idea to reinforce that area. Glad to hear it held . I had a heart attack when I found the crack! Hopefully that won't happen again.
