1. Thanks for posting about the troop! Looking forward to more work on the rifle when you get a chance to update.
 2. Having a 3D model to print these from will be a great asset to the Empire! I would love to try putting one of these together if you get the chance to complete the files. Keep up the super work. Super talented!
 3. Aaron, your latest muzzle and notch ring plans are highly anticipated. These additions would be awesome. Along with your notch ring idea, could the same idea apply to the front sight guard? A flat laser cut sight guard with the correct knurled pattern stamped into it. Then the only thing someone has to do is bend it to the correct shape to install. Maybe a piece of plastic or wood shaped to the inner sight contour can be supplied to ensure the correct shape.

Tino, amazed at how you caught those tiny d ring sized holes near the notches. Wonder what they were originally intended for. Work on the installing the d ring and prepping the end cap is fantastic. Cutting out the area to set the d ring holder into is tough work. I used wood carving tools to carve out the resin and get the inner surface as flat as possible. You are brave to try that with a power tool.
 4. Great news! Amazing to see this many new armor builds posted. Best of luck with your build. Your children are going to love seeing how happy you will be once it is completed. Congrats!
 5. Wow, that is rough.
 6. Good luck Preston. Looking forward to seeing your build. Ian, the spring was the first thing I noticed too.
 7. Ordered two kits on May 2nd last year. Just got word from my family that one big box just arrived. No shipping notification. Hoping the second big box arrives soon as well followed by the 2 smaller boxes with soft parts.
 8. I find the teeth on the Anovos helmet to be a bit long looking and too sharp perhaps. Sort of makes it look like Totoro smiling. Haven't inspected the helmet yet is person so maybe photos could be misleading....I hope.
 9. Great progress. Thanks for posting the helmet comparisons, very helpful to see all the differences in each of them.
Good luck with the rest of your build!
 10. Very nice!
 11. Hi Richard,
There are of course some things I would do differently or source different bits and pieces but overall this is pretty straightforward and should be fine for basic 501st approval in the least. I would always suggest looking over many build threads to see how some parts fit together or common mistakes when assembling. Also, if you plan on obtaining EIB or centurion status, build your armor according to their requirements. It makes it easier down the road if you wish to apply. I think if you are looking for just basic approval, these instructions are fine. Good luck and feel free to ask myself or the community for help once you start your build.
I would recommend getting rare earth magnets for gluing down cover strips. Those spring clamps recommended are limited to only where they can reach but the magnets can be spaced out to provide even pressure to hold the cover strips in place after gluing

These are by far the nicest looking instructions I have seen for assembling a kit. Beautifully designed. Hats off to whoever made these. Anovos did well with the kits and providing these nicely designed instructions.
 12. Yes, I am using my ipad. My MacBook Pro died last year so I am stuck with just the ipad for now.
Ian, It is totally annoying but if it can't be resolved I guess I will have to live with it.

Thanks all for your feedback. Please ignore all the gosh darn spacing code when I post! Cheers!
 13. Whenever I wish to start a new paragraph and hit return, I can see some sort of coding after the sentence or paragraph.

Hopefully you can see what I mean as I just created a break from the first sentence. If I actually go back o re-edit a Post the coding increases between the breaks/ spacing.

I noticed other members make spaces between paragraphs but I do not see the strange coding. Is this local to my account settings? Or a device issue? Any help understanding the strange spacing coding would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks.
 14. Michael,

Thanks for the detailed information regarding Zib MG 34. I would not have noticed those missing details and appreciate your help. As you said not bad for the price. But I will hold out to someday smuggle a Doopy DLT into Japan if ever possible.

Cheers again!
 15. Michael,
I am curious to know what details or lack of details indicate the RS DLT-19 is a cast of ZIB's MG-34. I was seriously considering to buy one from them but thought they used a real MG-34.
I love ZIB's gun and and you are lucky to own one. I wouldn't mind owning one myself if they shipped to Japan but they don't of course. But I do not want the RS DLT if it is a cast of this gun. I prefer cast from an original if I am going to buy a resin prop for the price charged.
Congrats on your awesome BFG.
 16. For the price, I am very pleased to see what you get. Definitely some minor issues with the belt being pre-assembled ( prefer to have the option to switch up things) but overall it looks very good. Well packed as well. Lets hope all the delivery carriers don't start playing soccer with these boxes.
 17. Awesome newsletter! Thanks for putting this together!
I think i am suffering from Blue Harvest Blues looking at all the cool new FO trooper builds and goods. Wishing I had a nice new set of FO armor! If my condition isn't covered under symptoms of PPD then we might need a new terminology for my illness. My wife calls it envy. Great read! Looking forward to the next newsletter!
 18. Thanks a billion Henry! Your studio rocks!
 19. Thanks Henry for your help! Super Trooper!
 20. Waiting eagerly! Interested to see what you do with the stock.
Post those pics when you get your helmet finished. Sounds like a super troop for a great cause.
 21. Very cool! Any chance those blaster sounds you obtained can end up in the hands of other fellow troopers through some sort of means?
Limited to access or even record these sounds since I am only using an ipad.
 22. Superb! I have a tube from the first run which doesn't have the dovetail cut. Wondering how that will effect how the muzzle installation with the barrel. Your work on this is providing extremely useful information for future builds. Thanks always for the detailed updates!
 23. Aaron, very interested in a muzzle casting if you do go ahead with that idea!
 24. Looks fantastic Tino. Parts are a perfect fit, work of a master!
