  1. I love how you notched the forearms! Finn's style and replica spirit . I think you're the best fan First Order stormtrooper I've seen. No matter what others might think.
  2. The thigh bracket sides are supposed to be straight but slightly curved inwards in case you can still modify that:
  3. Glad to have been of any help. 3D modelling is FUN . (well most of the time!) I haven't done this one because as much as I like the idea, like the scene, and like the fight, I'm not a fan of the prop at all. But I'll be watching your progress with interest.
  4. Wrong all the way... Except for the ones you have no idea of course .
  5. Here's the best I can do for the reference pictures from the Visual Dictionary. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner, and only have a terrible camera on my phone... ----------------------
  6. Very easy. Just like they did for ROTJ. You take 50 guys that you line up, capture them several times, patch all the shots together into one. Oooold cinema trick...
  7. Sorry for the late answer. Yes, most of them are.
  8. ... First of, you're obviously talking a lot of BS with that statement. Secondly CGI aren't cheaper than actual props.
  9. You have too much space between each ring of the handle. Also the activation button and steps underneath don't look right to me. The original seems a bit more complex to me. And hollowing parts is a good thing to do, but you have to think about print orientation first for it to work with FDM printers, and not only through SLS printing. Right now the way your handle is hollowed would work with FDM only if you print the handle standing on top of the activation button. An easy way to correct that would be to split the activation button from the handle, and make the two parts interlock with each other.
  10. I don't have all my pictures at hand right now, but here's one that should help you: Image link broken and unable to restore The cropped stock is entirely black (except for few rivets).
  11. Unfortunately yes. Most of the time you won't hear of it unless you're already part of your garrison. After, not all the EU garrisons have accomplished the tremendous work that producing a FOTK kit represent
  12. All the FO kits I know that aren't listed here are 501st Garrison stuff. All of them being EU garrisons. ----------------- http://static1.purepeople.com/articles/6/16/77/66/@/1984669-lancement-des-illuminations-de-noel-950x0-1.jpg
  13. There are more than four to my knowledge. Armor makers are just keeping it very low to avoid ANOVOS' foot.
  14. Yeah, they just added the notch but didn't adjust the height of their kidney plate...
  15. They're not Hero handguards. They're alternative style. Two Stunts behind Leia Three Stunts in a row. Let's kill that difference between the Hero and Stunt handguards myth once and for all please!
  16. The closest you will find is the ATI strikeforce for AR-15, with the correct shoulder pad and cheek rest. But be advise that even if it's the closest, it's still quite far off from the SW part. Edit: Always better with a picture:
  17. You can also shorten again the straps from the top of the bells to the bridges to help reduce those gaps. At rest, the top of the bell should be touching the side of the bridge
  18. Epic display! This is looking real nice The TFA blaster is a JJArmoryInc, but who's helmet is this? Derrek's one?
  19. Thanks for the bump! It's like a soothing baum for the eyes
  20. There you go for the gloves: ---------------- Nothing's like found part!
  21. I think it really comes down to the kit you have. You seem to have an ATA armor when the guy next to you has a RS, perhaps TM armor. And unfortunately pretty much all the fan kits - except for RS, TM, and now ANOVOS (and also the late NE) - have badly shaped and too small chest plates and bells.
  22. Interesting stuff! I'm looking forward to the rest of it.
  23. You're not the first ANOVOS trooper I see with oversized biceps armors. I would suggest priying off the rear cover stripes and downsizing them a bit so they fit you better. Right now you can see they are too large.
