  1. Nice idea on the abs mounting block for the mic! I think the wireless mic is great but that memories box is just big. I am pretty sure the box is super oversized and doesn't really require that much. I wonder about using a Bluetooth mic and receiver in the chest...
  2. I didn't mean to lay it on so much, but they were things I saw. You're doing a great job getting it together, I'm sure you can get approval right away, the rest are tweaks to make it more comfortable, sharper looking and to have a look he can run into centurion with!
  3. Oh, a trick you might want to do, if you take the snap plate inside teh shoulder bell and instead of gluing it in the ridge where it looks to be, bring it forward about an inch, this will help to close the gap between the bell and chest by stopping the rear rotation.
  4. Looking great! That chest strap will be a big deal, since the back is fully strapped, it's gonna chokka bit@$, just like you said. It may be to late, but it looks like the holster is a bit far back, how close is the first snap to the ABS portion? Don't forget to strap the forearms to the biceps to bring them up as close as possible to the elbow joint. Also, try to get the biceps down a bit more as well, they are pretty sucked up in there. You could come down around an inch, inch and a half and still be good from looking at the picture. LAST! shorten the straps on the shoulderbells to the shoulder bridges, they are sitting pretty far out, both of them.
  5. Edited! I knew that would give me away, just wasn't paying attention when I posted the photos.
  6. shhh, you're going to ruin the joke
  7. Armor = Troopermaster Helmet= Troopermaster Blaster= Troopermaster
  8. A trooper without a blaster in hand looks funny. I mean what are you going to do with your hands, you don't look as menacing as vader with his hands on his belt. So get that gun out trooper!
  9. Yes, getting it out is the 2 hand part, until the leather softens or is softened, it can be a little bit of a struggle. Getting it in is easy enough, I tip it in at an angle to catch the wider front area and the rest just flows into the holster. Having a good holster made to the right specs is important as well!
  10. Do they still accept the FX lid for specialist over there?
  11. Well, taking it out is a pain. The bottom of the holster isn't secured to your leg, so it's loose, which causes problems with a long holster and a long gun. Until your holster is really broken in, it takes a little jiggling or two hands to get it out.
  12. I saw one similar but it was with Daft Punk.
  13. I agree, put up a tutorial here, and a link to a video build as well. then, when you send the order confirmation say "go here for instructions" Save a tree. Save you cost of adding a package of instructions, as for those who aren't on the website, it will help to drive people to whitearmor.com. Win's all around.
  14. Well, knowing the empire, they would blast the planet away, GG. Unless the emperor thought he could subject them. I don't think the force works on Aliens though, since they are a hive mind, maybe on the queen, since she has showed intelligence above all of the others. Control the queen, control the hive.
  15. I used this one as well, great idea. I used a socket from my tool box as the press and my wood workbench to soak the heat. It is the reason why I always wanted to use nylon for my snaps, more contact. This this tutorial I quickly switched to ABS.
  16. 12 to start, 4000 after that! It's great to see the creation of a new manufacturer!
  17. The additional levels are not so we look like 'real stormtroopers' but rather what we have to go on from the movies, so we become movie accurate troopers. Basic 501st allows for more freedom in how you want your armor to be. EIB restricts that some, and then centurion to a greater level. Since when costuming, we are imitating what we have seen on the screen, because in reality.. those are the only 'real' stormtroopers in the world. They weren't costuming, they weren't imitating, they were it. So the higher levels of accuracy reflect the only stormtroopers we know. they used black boots painted white, therefore scuffed is a good middle ground. It's better then requiring troopers who want centurion to have to find black jodpur and paint them white, which is the pinnacle of prop replication and screen accuracy.
  18. Stensils are the BOMB! Makes even hacks like us look like a professional!
  19. Yeah, since RT used a split cod, you basically align the split near the bottom of the ABS belt, otherwise it looks way to low and doesn't sit right. I would suggest 100% that you bring it up as it really doesn't look right as it is now.
  20. Looking good man! You did the exact thing I have been talking about for the rt belt, it looks great how you modded it. In the test fit photos your belt is way to low... Not sure if it wasn't affixed or something. The top of the abs should be right at the bottom of the ab buttons, so you don't see the entire ab button plate. Looks like with a few small tweaks! You're ready for approval!
  21. Yeah, the LCD is for sure made to use 24h, it has a full crystal in there for all the numbers in the first slot...
  22. Not much you can do about the waist belt, RT mod puts his buttons further out, maybe to account for a larger trooper, who needs more belt to cover the pieces? There is a cut and laste mod you can do to the belt to make it more screen accurate, but this is not a requirement for EIB at all, so completely optional. If I had a RT Mod belt, I would make a tutorial on how to make the belt more screen accurate, but thats another topic. In the past, I have seen RT-Mod troopers align their drop boxes with the outside of the belt , even though it makes them further out. The key is that the outside edge of the box aligns with the outside edge of the ABS belt. Take a look at the RT build from Darth Aloha or Boomshakra to get an idea of where the boxes are supposed to go. You've done a great job, should be a cinch for EIB! A few minor tweaks as outlined in the thread and you will be perfect!
  23. I tried pushing the buttons as well, even alternating, combos and all that but to no avail... I like 24 hour time a lot more, I was raised with 12hr, and then moved into 24, and for me, 24 is way smarter, no repeating numbers makes things easy. We will see what lego tells me from my question to their customer service dept. My instructions have nothing on it regarding 24 hour time.
  24. So, I read tha tI can set my stormtrooper lego clock to 12/24 hour time, but I can't for the life of me find out how to do it. Does anyone have one of these clocks (Yoda, Darth, boba, any other Starwars clock is the same) and knows how I can swap to 24h time? Thanks!
  25. As it stands, it is already head and tails above the rest. I think we have one of the most detailed and accurate kits coming out here, which it seems is your goal. Right on.
