  1. Thumbs up to the links Tony provided!
  2. Alexander, Good luck mate! Looks very nice, you should have no problem!
  3. I'll keep it in mind. I'm done spending money on my TK at the moment, Vader is getting all my funds right now. So Maybe getting a cost estimate if she is interested in making another one, but no rush to get it yet.
  4. On my TM helmet I didn't glue it at all, it just stays there unless I accidentally twist my hand on it, but it goes back in easily.
  5. Congrats! I do like how your neck seal rides. It looks snug and very tall. I've got a long neck and my current neck seal doesn't seem to be tall enough even though it is the hero style. with the extra ribs, and it's a bit loose, maybe I can have your neighbor make me one too
  6. I have used CA glue, just a small drops in a few locations will keep it steady.
  7. Yes, and yes. Try the search in the upper right for rubies or the like to find some threads on the subject. It is a lot of work and you still end up with a mediocre suit. Sell the Rubies, then buy another set of armor from a reputable armorer and be happier with the look, feel be around the same price as with the rubies.
  8. Ahh, that explains it! Your new TD looks much better with the wider brackets.
  9. Hi Sarah! Congrats on your EIB and I'm sure you will get your Centurion, you've done a great job. I have a few things that might come up for you that I noticed. Not all of them will stop centurion, but they will make the suit more accurate in the end. Your chest piece doesn't seem to have a return edge on the bottom. This might be a sticking point for centurion, Mathias has the final say, but I think looking into how to add one would be a good idea, it makes the armor sit right and looks great with one. I love that you added the commlink and grappling hook! I thought about that, but decided I wanted to be just an average joe Hero with a TD :") Oh, on the subject of TD, it was in the works to make it a requirement for the TD clips to be all the way to the end caps, not sure if't it is finalized yet, again, I will leave that to Mathias. How lose are your forearms and biceps? They look like they could be trimmed more to fit on tighter. Good luck, and I can't wait to meet you and your husband on an upcoming troop! Are you planning on going to Celebration: Europe in Essen? There is going to be hundreds of 501st I'm sure, will be a big invasion!
  10. Wow, I just realized I spammed.... I wanted to thank the latest people, then I realized I hadn't thanked others.... Then I realized I missed the first people, so crazy!
  11. Thanks Mark, Wayne, Charles, Scott and Tony!
  12. Thanks Phil, charles and Mathias!
  13. It seems like a great system you input the text and it puts it where it needs to be, super easy. The creators of the certs did a great job.
  14. Hey, no sweat! You have to do like 300 of these a day (At least it feels like that) so I understand being missed.
  15. I have lived in Germany for 14 years, so know about the whole importing things. I'm mostly critical of the USPS due to their shoddy tracking. I pay for full tracking and sometimes it never updates until it is delivered. Or the tracking will say it gets to somewhere random and shows as delivered, but in fact is arrives at my box two weeks later. Either this is a problem of the PO's system in general, or it is due to getting lazy workers who don't scan my packages properly. I appreciate what they do and I am frustrated when they can't track it right. I want them to exist and know they provide a valuable service, I just wish they could get their business straight in regards to tracking.
  16. You forgot me, post 1 on page 3
  17. Yes, crotch rivets, thats it. Now I remember why I was doing that pose.
  18. Sweet, thanks for the clarification!
  19. hahhaa, is he farting.... or shooting fancy at someones feet?
  20. Derrek Day 80082 EIB A4
  21. Derrek Day 80082 Centurion A4
  22. Yeah, long neck. I've got a standard leaf foam in the top, not much to shave out.
  23. I'll request a letter another time, got no wall space
  24. Thanks Mathias! I also thought about those catching, but didn't have a problem yet... however, it only takes once to ruin an undersuit. I will pop them a few times more. I actually stayed away from the hammer since I didn't want to bend the cap out of shape, so only used pliers to spread them. I'll post up the fixed tears when I get back from the USA in two weeks and have the time to get some paint on it.
