  1. Richard, that was probably CA Boots (Champion Attitude). they are not very accurate, and expensive.
  2. My long term plan is to do a concept vader. I've got the connection for a top notch helmet and armor... the rest.. thats the hard part. Slowly though I imagine. For now, it will just be my ROTJ vader I finished today, finally got my shins.
  3. I have a second set of handguards that came with my kit, the ABS ones. If at one point the glue comes off and the guard separates or something, I want to be prepared. I have glued elastic bands on the ABS handguards, so it's easy to slip them on in an emergency.
  4. I have a strip of ABS big enough to be a cover strip or quick patch, E11 glue, super glue, a few snaps, some elastic and adhesive velcro, a hobby knife, an extra set of hand guards and an aluminum strip.
  5. Well, if you want accuracy, slot heads are the only way to go. I'd contact them and ask why they sent you philips head vs a flat head.
  6. So, does anyone happen to have a way to contact him? An old email, website that he uses/frequents, or anything like that? Thanks! Derrek
  7. I like the addition of the velcro pull strap. It can be used as a pull strap for getting the boot on, and keeps someone who wants to velcro their shin to the boot from having to find a way to attach it themselves. Win/Win
  8. The photos you have are probably the best reference you can have, nice job and you would be perfect in following those guidelines.
  9. If you're set on it, no one here is going to be able to convince you otherwise. You are right, the fact that it includes everything makes it alluring. It's a sight better then $1000 for a rubies that isn't even approvable.
  10. Both are approvable. RT is built for overlap but can be trimmed to do coverstrip "fairly" easily. If you decide to go coverstrip I would contact rob and try to get a coverstrip kit, in order to properly match the coloration of his abs.
  11. Wait, why does that vader have his gloves taped on and his armor over the top of his cloak!
  12. Chelsea, really sorry for the situation. It sounds stupid to say it, but things will work out. Plus, you will find a buyer for the suit, it's all about timing.
  13. Aww, crap. Your best bet would be to put it up under the For Sale section. you have a good template from the original post to give the details of the suit itself as well as some photos of the suit before you got it, as long as it's in the same condition.
  14. Very nice! Love the interior storage space.
  15. I don't know that John has his V2 ready yet? The other options are Troopermaster and sskunky I believe.
  16. I don't think it's our reluctance, it's the reluctance at a legion level to give the permission to make the changes. As we know, we have voted and put up a slew of changes months ago and still haven't seen them implemented at the legion level.
  17. Well, you should check the site on a computer, might fix the photo problems, I'm guessing you're on a mobile device, but not sure. I call him Anakin the Mannaquin (not my idea, got it from the SLD somewhere) He is just a simple naked man. I'm pretty sure this guy will be the one I put my Vader on, and I will get another one with straighter arms for my TK. Getting the biceps on this guy was a right pain in the arsch.
  18. oooo, I like that rubber idea. I should have expected it from the "Queen of Rubber" How much to get someone in your area to help you mold a set of XL rubber hands?
  19. Hrm, cast my hands, add a screw to insert it into Annis arms, or just leave him be to contemplate his life with small hands! Great video though, might look into that.
  20. He is framing his junk, like a proper model.
  21. This is Anakin all suited up. I figured I might as well show what I have, such a waste it sitting in a box more then out in the air! Hi is a little bit of a poseur, but hey, what can I ask of someone who poses for a job! Not to mention his small hands... at least his fingers are open, but the gloves look like bags on him.
  22. It will all be CGI troopers, or rubies armors.... lol
  23. Keep in mind that bigger is not the same as taller. My TM Hero fits me good, but my dad tried it on and the low brow didn't suit him well, as he had a hard time seeing out the eyes due to the height of his head.
  24. The next bigger helmets are the RT-Mod and (not suggested) FX.
  25. So we are not really E-shops, we're people who happen to do a particular thing to help the community by providing accurate, authentic prop replicas to promote a better looking group of stormtroopers.
