  1. Well, I would think a lot of women who want to be a storm trooper might be interested in this.
  2. Yeah, most likely photobucked updated some links and I have to go back and redo them all... bleh

    Path of Exile

    Anyone play? I'm either ball_buster or bb_bones
  4. Glad to help Eric! Just don't get to discouraged, there is always a fix for the armor and you'll get your approval soon!
  5. Yes, yes you are right! This is a good picture though, now I see that the original cut was badly done and the butt piece is way to long. In this case, I think cut #2 is the better cut, because the piece is to long at the current cut. I also notice that the butt hangs down a lot longer than the cod does. In the end, they should be about at the same length instead of one being longer than the other. This will be a bit difficult as the Cod was cut shorter by the original seller, so you lost an inch and a half already. But moving the cut of you back/butt would be the first step to getting the belt in the right location.
  6. The location of the belt is perfect now, from the front. I would hesitate to reattach, then recut your back/butt pieces. Is there no way you can just get the belt to stay up higher on the back piece, like a piece of velcro?
  7. Those big boxes are great, if you have a van, or other oversized transport and don't plan on taking anyone else with you in the vehicle My stanley box took up the entire back of my SUV, so it was useless if I wanted to take anyone elses gear/ I decided on the suitcase and separate helmet bag and now I have a lot of room. I can carry my costume, one other costume similarly packed and clothing and other things for an entire weekend away from home.

    My kid as a Jawa

Excellent pick on TM as we talked about at CEII. Looking forward to seeing some shots of you in September!

    My kid as a Jawa

Hi soren, I was Vader at the contest and my son was in his TM Jr. suit. Glad to meet you
  10. I just mean when you close your belt in the back, bring it up higher and make it as tight as you can to keep it up higher. If this doesn't work, you can also add a little velcro so it will stay high.
  11. Soooooo, what has happened Jenny and Greg?!
  12. I wondered the same. But no, he is not licensed to sell a stormtrooper, I am pretty sure that there is one company who sells licensed TK's, and he is not it. I think he got in with the Ecco gear he was selling.
  13. I would say Blue line, but the Red line is a little better since it doesn't cover half the other button. At this point, thats really nitpicking, the connection on the back seems to be the thing holding you back from acceptance. See if you can fill those holes on the back and front that are showing then just when you strap your belt on, make sure it's about an inch above the split between butt and kidney. It will help to remove the droopy look to your derrière. I would def stay away from the teal line, that would throw everything off being crooked like that.
  14. The suit looks to be a FX with the cod cut out by default. This makes the cod a separate piece for ease of movement, but it's hard to work with and the cut needs to be hidden. The problem this creates is you then need to put the belt lower than usual, which throws everything off. The top of the plastic belt on your waist should be touching the lowest button on your ab plate, then there will be a snap on the left and right side of the ab plate to help support the weight of the belt. With this done, the rest of the belt will fall into place. The back of your belt should not cover up the cut, but be about an inch up on the kidney piece. I see there are some holes in your armor on the kidney/but plates, you will want to fill those in with ABS paste (use some acetone to melt some ABS scraps to create the paste, then fill in the hole with melted ABS, works wonders). Is there anyone you know in your local garrison who lives close and who is old hand at armor? That is a great place to start for a little hand and support when making modifications you aren't sure or comfortable with.
  15. I think the flip of your question is my thought Steve. Why wouldn't they be? We have a ton of costumes in the Legion that have never appeared in anything except video games, books, or comics. They were all based on drawings made by the artists, so the RMQ is no different. He did a good number of drawings on the different suits pre-production and there has been several other source materials over the years from figures like gentle giant, koto, sideshow. There is enough source material to make a CRL based on it, and it is the Star Wars Universe... Maybe the expanded Universe, but still in Star Wars.
  16. the only real requirement from Normal E11 to centurion E11 is that is it not a Hasbro conversion. You can get a DVH pipe build or a doopy resin and both will work for centurion.
  17. Looks like a toy, doesn't even look full size.
  18. Has anyone see this before? It is apparently the original helmet from the trooper in the subject line... -------------
  19. The DVH kit is by far the most accurate, but Doopydoo is the easier kit to build. Really, neither is hard to build, it just takes a bit more cutting and shaping to build the DVH kit vs the doopy. Also, getting the doopy kits can prove a little troublesome sometimes, They do arrive after some time, but can have broken pieces and getting them to talk back to you and replace the pieces is difficult to say the least. DVH kits come quickly and communication is 100%
  20. Very well done on the tracks! A lot of blaster builds have the tracks that don't fit so well, the joints aren't flat and they look "wavey" for lack of a better term. From the photos, these looks super flat and very well done!
  21. Astounded, I am. Strong in the way of the blaster you are!
  22. Holy cow, what are the chances you found an inner pipe of exactly the right size for this... impressive!
  23. There is screen history of a 'Hero' in ESB as far as the helmet goes, I know this was discussed a few weeks ago by Troopermaster.
  24. Thumbs up man, looking forward to this one!
