  1. The turtle wins the race, when I started I had a 6 month wait for my ATA armor, over the next years that went up to 9 months, unfortunately the maker passed a few years ago. Really depends on your size, if you are standard Stormtrooper size you would have no worries, if your size is a little taller/shorter and if you have lower or higher weight you may need to make adjustments so an untrimmed is better. If you have a look through some of the build threads or Expert Infantry many have the abbreviation of armor maker in the page titles, will give you a good idea of sizing. Here's just one of those
  2. Hello and welcome aboard (from another DSG ) Some great info and links in this thread should help you on your way It's not as daunting as it first looks, research is the key and don't be afraid to ask questions, there are no silly questions, just silly mistakes from not asking them Look forward to seeing a build thread from you soon
  3. Imperial March Star Wars Empire State Building Takeover Merchandise reveals here https://www.starwars.com/news/imperial-march
  4. Congratulations on your second EIB trooper, updated Honor Gallery image added
  5. From past conversations the CRL would cover an array of different variants of what is seen on screen. For EZRA you could copy that particular Stormtrooper as he stole that armor BUT you could not get approved as "Ezra Stormtrooper say helmet off" as he is considered a "good guy" (this is also why we don't have a Luke or Han Stormtrooper CRL) More info on "bad guys" costume inclusion here: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLGuide
  6. Looking forward to seeing the progress, good luck. One thing to look out for is the chest being a lot larger and lower around the neck compared to the ROTK (night trooper) chest. Comparision:
  7. No issues with sharing, it's done the rounds more than a few times I did find I needed to extend the length a little for the gunner as it was just a little short. A thread on the original pauldrons you may find of interest
  8. Some WTF EIB approved references to compare with
  9. You can also cheat, use a permanent marker, easier to control, you can also add masking tape which makes the lines extra crisp
  10. A couple more details which appear to be a little off (it's all about the details) Ridge around the small inner recessed rectangle appears it should have a raised ridge. Also the rectangle on the left of the wearer could be a little lower (may be ok for basic). One other think to note is 3D print and join lines, appears there is one across the abdomen.
  11. Donation made. WOW almost the same cost in fees: $1.49 AUD ($.097 US)
  12. Looking good, a couple of suggestions. Shoulder bells could come inwards more. Also the chest plate looks a tad small, note how much room there is around the neck and angle of the shoulder straps, Enoch chest is a lot wider (especially the neck) compared to regular TK's.
  13. Unfortunately this can be the issue with 3D print files, trying to replicate what is seen on screen as well as what is required by the CRL as well as comfort longevity, a lot of new era costumes are the same, FOTK also has it's issues but a lot of this new era armor was injection molded and has some give and flex so pieces can be so large. Have a look at Jason's thread, not the same files but give you an idea of some areas
  14. Looking forward to seeing the progress
  15. Hello and welcome back "it's never too late". You may need to update that signature image too, many of us use Imgur for image hosting A great thread full of info which may be of help on your journey Looking forward to seeing a build thread from you soon.

  18. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  19. They came up well, nice job. You may however need to extend them just a little, the inner corners, as the ridge comes to the ends of the cut out area BUT in saying that your GML may not even notice them. Just trimming the added ridges straight could be enough. With finer sandpaper (wet and dry) I use water with a drop of dish washing liquid, helps the sandpaper to glide and doesn't clog as quickly
  20. Glad to see you wearing your safety equipment
