Got the arms and legs glued together, shimming the chest, back, abs, and belt. Next I'm going to put PC-7 on the back of all seams to reinforce them because I am so hard on armor. Then once I fill in any gaps or seams that are visible, I think I'll be ready to paint!

Absolutely! After he said it was leather and suede I went back and starting digging into it. Thank you all so much for working on it, I'm so excited!

Hello again, I don't suppose you would mind showing a shot of the back side of the costume/belt? I have a friend helping me make it, and we just can't tell from the screen grabs what the back looks like. Also, your work is so amazing!

Thank you! My husband is great with electronics, so I'll have him add that and see what happens. I also took the diffuser plates off the lights so it would be more pinpoint. It's just still so bright you can see my dang eyes. ?

I am so bad at updating build threads, but I am now in the thick of trying to get this guy done, and I've finally found out how to post images, so here's the work on Enoch's helmet so far. I'm waiting on my new printer to get here and I can work on printing the chest/back sections. The rest of the armor is sitting in a box waiting on me to get ready to paint and crack and weather it.

What did you use for your fabric? I'm having trouble finding something in the right burgundy color.

Okay, we are plastic dipped and ready to trim and shim and make it fit me. I need to also drill out the grooves in the helmet and figure out the eye situation. I'm trying to add the glowing eyes for zombie mode but with the lenses you can see the light through it. I tried it with several layers of welding mask but then I couldn't see. I'd love any tips or suggestions from more experienced builders. Also - I can't find that thread that teaches you how to host your images on imgur so I can post them here. Anyone know of the top of their heads where it's located?

Nvm, just went back and looked at images again. I think I'll hit the whole thing with a gloss white then crack and weather and that should be enough of a shine.

Had a slight detour while assembled most of a Sandtrooper (thank you ADHD), but we're back on track. I really need to find the thread about using imgur for photos, I have several photos to add. Today I got all of the pieces sealed with Plastidip on the back. If anyone has any type of video tutorials on the fiberglass kits, I'd be forever in your debt. I'm a bigger gal, so I have to shim up the chest, back, and ab plate so it'll look right. Also, thoughts on the white paint before weathering - should I make it glossy then weather it, or leave it matte because they've been exiled so long there's surely no way their armor is still shiny...

It's BBB day!!! Just ordered my boots and the chiffon. Once I get it coated in plastic dip I'm going to start drawing where I want the cracks and different sections.

Okay, so to go with my husband's Captain Enoch kit, I will be building a Night Trooper for myself. I'm modeling it after the one that Ezra wore, because I'm a big ole Rebels nerd. Helmet: I'm getting my armor kit and undersuit with seal from Jim Tripon Neck Seal: Jim Undersuit: Jim Armor: Jim Gloves: Boots: Just going to order a pair from Crowprops or KeepTrooping, anyone have any thoughts/preferences on either? Blaster: I'll resin print an E-11 and then finish it/mod it to match. Material Strips: I'll edit this post as I get sources for everything, and I'll add progress photos to the thread. Currently I've placed the order with Jim for everything. Once I finish printing Enoch's chest and back pieces for my husband, I'll probably get started on the blaster while waiting for my armor to get made and shipped. Since I want to do a specific Night Trooper, should I add my research photos here, or to the research section and then just link them in an update?

Yes, I've noticed that. That's why I'm going to just print it myself along with the back plate. GA has a decent file, and I'm going to use Armorsmith to scale it to my husband's proportions and make it look correct on him. That's going to be one of my tougher tasks.

This is so exciting seeing all of these builds come together! Since I'm starting a Captain Enoch build for my husband, I figured I'd post it here so that I could get assistance and also offer any assistance I can as we work to complete this costume and CRL. I really liked the layout of @Lidocaine build thread here, so forgive me, I stole it to be the format for mine as well. I'll come back and update and edit and fill in blank spots as I get those resources pinned down. Helmet: Resin printed by a friend of mine, he's actually looking to sell finished helmets and raw kits, I'll have him finish his listing and link it here . Edited to add hyperlink to kit. Neck Seal: It looks to be a R1 neck seal and undersuit but in a different color, so I may reach out to Jim and see if he's interested in making his undersuit/neck seal in this color for Enoch. Undersuit: see above Belt/Kama/Holster: The friend who printed the helmet for me is also a leatherworker, so we are going to work on the leather parts, I'm still searching for a source for soft parts. I've reached out to Sheev's Emporium and Geeky Pink's Phantastic Gaskets, but I've not heard back from either so far. If that changes, I'll edit this to reflect that, or a friend and I will be working to try and recreate it ourselves. Chest/Back: Since the consensus is that these are custom, I'm going to be printing Galactic Armory's Captain Enoch armor 3d print files Arms/Legs/Abd: I'm getting the rest of this armor from Jim Tripon Gloves: I saw it mentioned that these also might just be recolored R1TK gloves, if this ends up being the case I'll add this to the list of soft parts to see if I can get made. Handguards: Thinking that they are the same as the R1 suits, just with the custom coloring. Included with the 850 armor. Blaster: One of the threads I've read mentioned this blaster , any thoughts on if this is indeed the correct one? If so I will order this one. Both myself and my husband are absolute perfectionists, so I want to build this correctly, which is why I'm documenting it here and on my IG, I want to be able to correct course as I work to make this perfect, and I absolutely welcome your feedback as I build this. Now to go make a build thread for my Night Trooper build since I'll be doing these simultaneously.
