  1. From the builds I have seen they mostly bend downwards, not sure about cannon
  2. Looking good
  3. Pretty much what Charles has said
  4. Really coming along nicely
  5. Looks better, Velcro is acceptable for EIB and Centurion . Good luck with approval
  6. There are differences between each version of E-11's depending on which movie. From your link it looks like a ANH version, have a look at some of the ROTJ blaster builds
  7. Different size snaps I use smaller ones on other project, each size snap has its own tool
  8. I don't use pliers as they never seem to squash the snap right, this is the tool I use, the base has two sides and depending on which side of the snap you are applying. ----------
  9. A nice build, good luck trooper
  10. As far as I know the CRL's are film based.
  11. As far as I know the ESB holster is the same as ANH but is a mirror image, so back to front, as it is worn on the right, in the photo below this would be mirrored for ESB. The only difference is that the straps on the holster are loops, so you would have to make the 4" pieces below longer and loop them over the belt. You can see this in the ESB CRL's
  12. Scope mount made and fitted, decided to give it all a coat of primer to see what needs some bondo and adjustment.
  13. Most don't even glue there's, I haven't had an issue as yet
  14. Great work the lines are looking a lot better, my S trim does the same so I wouldn't be worried about it.
  15. Electronics mounted onto a strip of aluminum
  16. This may help you with the D ring install http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20592-d-ring-onto-hyperfirm/?hl=%2Bhyperfirm+%2Bring#entry269155
  17. Wow thanks Mathias, that is the first time I have seen that grip. Well I have been asked if I will sell this one that I am building so I think I will and make another one, I do like that grip and it will be easy to replicate, I just need to shape the grip first then I can heat the plastic matting and apply it while still hot.
  18. Very interesting, would you have a photo of the grooves, I can't seem to find anything
  19. All of the reference photo's I have found appears that it is flat, although there was a model of the Rexim Favor that did have a wavy grip. Some of my reference photo's
  20. It's a bit hard to see in white but I have covered the grip in some matted plastic, here is a close up
  21. A bit more detailing and some inner barrel work
  22. Getting some electronics organized, I use a $6 toy gun, has a nice loud blaster sound, I also add a hi-bright LED from a $3 pen torch, then a 3 AAA battery holder. I will glue all of this to a strip of abs and make it a snug fit inside the barrel
