  1. That's odd because I can't see anyones. Not just mine and Carlos'. Anyone who I know is a Centurion (Mathias included) I can't see it. They're all gone.
  2. My red Centurion award that is supposed to be under my EIB badge doesn't show up anymore. Have I had my Centurion badge taken away? I assume this is probably a tech issue, and I don't want to make something from nothing. However, I did earn that badge, so I'm just making sure everything is still Kosher. Edit: After looking around, I notice that no ones Centurion badge shows up. I hope I'm not being petty here. I know its just a little icon, but it represents more and it means alot to me.
  3. I assume you are speaking about the FISD, as in THIS site we are on. In which case, the FISD is a detachment of the 501st, and thereforce the vetted armor makers advertised on this site all sell armor that is easily built 501st acceptable out of the box. If you follow the threads and advice of these boards you will have no problem making it into the 501st.
  4. hmmmm... looks to be TE derived. The experts will have to back me up on that though, I can't spot armor lineage and tell you what it is just like that like some can. I've certainly never heard of him.
  5. Just the fact that your fiancee is freaking out about this as much as you indicates you have definitely found your soul mate. I can't help you with the music selection, but your taste in women is obviously phenomenal!
  6. I love the back and forth going on here with the upgrades. Congratulations, BTW!
  7. Congratulations Ingrid! Well deserved for all your hard work! Now, the commander from second squad requests your presence in the shuttle bay immediately! They need help stopping an uprising on Kashyyyk. Good hunting trooper!
  8. Well at least it's on line now, Ingird. I couldn't do it though. I would have had to get a new plate. I am so OCD about that thing, if those two little raised bumps don't line up to my cover strip... Also, can you send me that 'First Grade Success' book in the background? I need to brush up on my math...
  9. The rack and the scope are wrong. It looks like the scope just hasn't been taken apart far enough, not sure what that is on top? As far as price, if you say this guy is your friend take it for what you can get it for. As with most things like this, I'll give you the Pawn Stars answer: "It's worth what someone's willing to pay." Offer him what you think is reasonable and see if he goes for it. If not, try to cut what you thinka fair deal is. If he'll let it go for $20 bucks, well then alright! If he wants somewhere in the neighborhood of $600, then you'll have to ask yourself if it's worth that to YOU
  10. Use split rivets onegaishimasu! They are the screen accurate that way! Yours look correct already, from my angle, with no need for an upgrade???
  11. Wayne seems to have the best idea for getting it to sit right. I was just going off of what i see and what Ingrid said. However, I am no expert on AP as I don't wear it but it seems you are all on point with this particular issue, so I'll humbly stand down.
  12. I still must disagree. If you move the other side, which is already in line, then that side will sit low and then you have the same issue just with the other side. It almost seems like it is unfixable without a differenct sniper plate. But I am not the officer here, Mathias is. As you wish, sir!
  13. This is what I mean: I have tried to show the angle I mean here. Dr. Senf, please don't interperet my disagreement as being combative. It is difficult on the internet to indicate tone, and I assure you I only wish to be as pleasant as possible while still getting my opinion across.
  14. I realize that it sits too high. However, were she to reposition it, then either the left side would be too low or the sniper plate would sit crooked. Would you rather have it line up correctly and be at an angle to the calve?
  15. Looks great, Ingird! That should pass muster now. I would be careful cutting any of the knee save you taking away detail but that's not up to me now is it? Also, I think the problem you are having with the sniper plate is that if the left side was glued on flush like the right side the sniper plate would be at a crooked angle to the calve. This seems to be a defect in the armor rather than you gluing it on wrong. In my professional opinion, I would rather have it be a little high on one side than be crooked. I mean what looks better in the long run? I wouldn't mess with that If I were you and I certainly don't recommend you being denied approval for that.
  16. The red looks like it will be perfect, Ingrid. Now get to it! The Rebel Alliance isn't taking any breaks!
  17. You will get this Ingird! And it is well deserved! As soon as you make it head on down to the Centurion Lounge-- Level 5 sublevel 113, right across from hangar bay 328. First rounds' on me!
  18. I don't wish to hijack this thread with debates about recast. This is Neil's thread about this particular armor. The general concensus here in the FISD is against recasting because of, in a word, loyalty. No one is judging anyone. We are just trying to make sure people get the most accurate and highest quality armor, while simultaneously protecting those manufacturers who worked hard to actually create molds rather than just copy others hard work to make a profit.
  19. Nice first post... You'll have to excuse me for saying so, but you won't have anyone agreeing with you on that kind of talk around here.
  20. Try here: http://www.kraytclan.com/ Or, as an alternative, have a few of us go out and kill a few Tuskens for you. We'll make sure to blast 'em without hitting the mask. "Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise."
  21. This has always made me wonder. I will tell you what I have always thought first, then you all can chime in with any "real" info that you have or what your opinions are on it. I have always wondered what an "Idealized" Stormtrooper is supposed to look like. From my understanding, Lucas had a vision of a Stormtrooper in his head. The result of the poor technology and low funds gave us the first Stormtrooper: the ANH version. However, to Lucas, this wasn't exactly what he was looking for-- just the best he could get. Then, in ESB, he got a little bit closer toward what he really wanted them to be. Finally, in ROTJ he had both enough funds and better technology to create the Stormtrooper to be the way he had always intended-- With the symetrical, overlapping parts, no screws in the helmet, bubble lenses all around, and that much more sci-fi looking blaster. Again, this is all speculation on my part. So, is the ROTJ what the "ideal" or "idealized" trooper is supposed to look like? And would that make both the FX or ROTJ style armor to be considered "idealized" rather than actual replicas of the type of armor used in the movies? I personally love the look of the orginal ANH Trooper and can't think why he would change it other than what I have already stated. Am I right in my assumptions?
  22. That's what I like to see! Good work and Great attitude Trooper!
  23. D'oh! I thought that was an EIB requirement. I am always getting them mixed up. Well I still reccomend it. It only takes 5 seconds!
