  1. As far as reporting your troops for "record," could you clarify a little more? Do you mean to be counted for 501st troops? Or are you talking about our field training exercise program here on the FISD? I thought all garrisons have postponed troops so I'm very interested to hear about them.
  2. Hi Chris and welcome to the FISD! Congrats on your BBB! Enjoy the build and ask us any questions you may have.
  3. Hi Domingo and welcome to the FISD!
  4. Very nice job so far! You are all very talented.
  5. It also appears that above we were going to try and let bygones be bygones. I believe Tony is asking here because he was removed and blocked from said Facebook group so he feels this is the only place he can ask you to join the group. I am also asking to be able to join as well since I as removed and blocked. I asked Kevin about it and he is unsure why I was removed and I should ask you.
  6. Nice to see you doing this Brien. I will be doing the same thing shortly. I ordered my Hero stuff from TM back towards the end of November which will also be arriving soon. Enjoy the mods.
  7. Congrats on your purchase! RS is top notch. Yes please start a build thread so our members can follow along and offer advice and tips as needed.
  8. So branching off on what Joseph has said. The vetted seller section is really the go to list. You have to understand that most places to get armor do not have websites as it is copyrighted material. RS Props in the UK is the only legitimate place that has a website and you can purchase off of. Otherwise if you are on facebook then you can find facebook pages for Troopermaster, RWA, Walts Trooper Factory, DA Props, CFO and maybe a couple of others that I'm missing.
  9. I couldn't imagine what this treasure chest looks like in person!
  10. So the question comes up often about how to differentiate FISD coins. Especially the earlier ones. It is certainly difficult. Here is a breakdown for everyone on how you can identify what you have. V1 and V1.1 are the only two versions that have the fist on the back of the coin. V1 is a larger fist with 3 knuckles showing. V1.1 has smaller fist with 2 knuckles showing. V2 and V2.1 are the harder ones to differentiate. Both started using the E-11s on the back. Both of them say "First" instead of "1st" on the front of the coin. The real only way to tell them apart is V2.1 has thicker text and the blue on the back of the coin is darker. 2.2 and 2.3 (newer coin). The easiest way to tell these apart is they both now say "1st" but the 2.3 has a black elbow and the 2.2's arm is all white. Even after someone reads this I can promise you that it will still seem confusing. Anyway, I hope this helps you Paul in figuring out what you have. This goes for everyone else as well.
  11. Hi Andy and welcome to the FISD! TM is an excellent choice for armor. I don’t know if you are looking for him to fully commission the armor for you but I think you should consider having him build your helmet for you. Paul is amazing at what he does there. The armor is always nice to build on your own. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to ask.
  12. The EIB gold one? It is one of the most beautiful coins ever made. One of the favorites in my collection
  13. This is where I am at currently. I really wish I had more of course. The older ones are getting very difficult.
  14. Hi JEFF and welcome to the FISD!! It looks like you have done your research which is excellent news. For what it’s worth I’m 5’9 and 200 lbs so I’m around your area. The one thing I can assure you is that TM can fit up to a 36inch waist. RS and ATA do not provide much extra room so you may need to shim or you may just have gaps between your AB and Kidney plate. If you are around that size then AP is also another good alternative. And also we have all been in your place before. Many of us are not “handy” and worry about making mistakes or whether or not you can do this. Well I can assure you that you can! Also building your armor comes with many positives. Like if you need to fix something in the future then you won’t have any reservations to do it yourself. Also, you have a great sense of accomplishment at the end. If you have any other questions then don’t hesitate to ask.
  15. The FISD Membership has Spoken! Please join me in congratulating Andrew Franke as the FISDs new Detachment Leader! Congrats Andrew!!
  16. Hi Paul and welcome to the FISD! You certainly did not make a mistake by coming here. This is the 501st forum for all things related to stormtroopers. The UKG is your home garrison within the 501st legion. So you will want to be a part of both. You also mentioned a biker scout, well this is the 501st forum relating to scout troopers: forum.501stpathfinders.com/ Take a look around. I think you will find that the big party is here with us shiny white stormtroopers. If you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask.
  17. Hi Daniel and welcome to the FISD! I think everyone has hit the nail on the head so far. Also, you can't go wrong with one of Mark's AP kits. It is top notch. Good luck with your build!
  18. And also selling price is going depend on the size the armor was built to.
  19. Event #26 Event Name: Make-A-Wish Holiday Party Location: Holbrook, NY Date: January 4, 2020
  20. Event #25 Event Name: Toys of Hope Holiday Party at Oheka Castle Location: Huntington, NY Date: December 19, 2019
  21. Hi Jacob and welcome to the FISD! If you are looking for armor parties then I would suggest you sign up on the Garrison Tyranus forums. They will be your home garrison once you are approved. Then they may also give you assistance hands on. Since you live in Stafford I'm assuming you will be near many members south of DC. If you are looking for First Order armor then you should look into KB Props or Jimmiroquai. They seem to be the two reliable first order vendors as of right now. I believe you have to contact them both on facebook. Good luck!
  22. Hi Cheryl and welcome to the FISD! If you have any questions then do not hesitate to ask!
