  1. Did you already connect the back plate? If you haven't then you could always reshape the shoulder bridges a little to make them more "flat." This will help the chest come down a little. Also don't forget you can add some elastic straps from the chest to the ab to help pull it down a little.
  2. Awesome Ian! Really creative!
  3. Very nice Teresa! Your armor is looking very sharp. You and Aaron did a great job. You shouldn't have much of a problem here. Good luck with your application!
  4. Congrats Pete! Welcome to the 501st! Now you get to do the best part which is going out there and trooping. Have fun!
  5. Hi Pete. The reason why you cannot post in the Newly Approved thread is because you do not have 501st access yet. If you have not done so already then head to this thread and request 501st access. You just need to follow the instructions in the first post. The rest should also work as well after you have done this. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  6. Very nice build! Good luck with your application!
  7. You have done a great job! Welcome to Centurion!
  8. Congrats Scott! You have done an amazing job! Welcome to Centurion!
  9. Yes another great program to recognize those who embody the spirit of Troopers Helping Troopers!
  10. Like everyone else has said, your RS suit SHOULD NOT have any problem going EIB or Centurion. However, the armor must fit you well and everything should be located where it should be when you put it on. As far as armor goes it is one of the best sets.
  11. Hi Logan, your armor is looking great so far! I would just echo the advice Joseph gave you and bring in the shoulder bells so they are almost touching the shoulder bridges.
  12. Congrats on your approval Brian! Get that Centurion app in right away. You should have no problem!
  13. Take a look at this thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28304-how-much-can-i-realistically-expect-to-pay-to-finish-my-stormtrooper-costume/ Matthew there are a lot of good experienced guys in the NER if you need any hands on assistance. We have all been in your shoes in the beginning. Wavering back and forth on whether or not we have the skills to build a set of armor. But after you make the first few cuts then you get more comfortable with the process. And the best part about building your own set is you get to look at yourself in the mirror and have a great sense of accomplishment. As Chris has mentioned and the information posted in the thread above, you will see that this is certainly not a cheap hobby. When you look at the "cheap" side vs. the "more expensive" side you will see that ultimately you are only talking probably $300-$500 more.
  14. Joseph showed you a great way to get rid of the armor bite. If you do something like that it should get rid of that problem. Also make sure you take some sandpaper to it and smooth it out nicely. You will realize that when you start trooping in your armor there will always be tweaks that need to be had. I am constantly making improvements. Anyway I cannot confirm what color grey that Anovos has used on their helmet. Most people use Humbrol Admiral grey for their frown and ab button plate. But I do not know if this is the same shade with the anovos set.
  15. Hi Stephen. You did a very nice job on your build. Good luck with your application!
  16. Matthew TM is top notch stuff. I have one of his helmets and it is my favorite. You cannot go wrong with him. It's really top notch. If you want pricing you can PM here on the boards m
