  1. Mark a stop line with pencil and bust out a sanding drum. Easy 1 minute job
  2. Thought Canucks said "eh", not "aye"
  3. Looks fine to me for someone with longer arms. Move along, move along.
  4. Ideally, you want the forearm and the bicep near touching. If you have long, ape like arms, you're going to have some space between the bottom of the forearm and the hand plate.
  5. That was sarcasm! She didn't like it one bit but it's my only hobby. She came around when she went to my first troop and saw how cool we looked and how all the kid's faces light up when they see you. I'm almost 30 and still figuring out things so don't worry about being young. You're in the Propaganda Dept so you must be doing something right here.
  6. I'm an avid vaper and supporter for the past few years. I have a few setups that I can just follow you and fog up an entire room in one puff lol. I think that dragonpuffer thing might be your best bet form factor wise. The problem I see with using cheap e-ciggs and depending how long/amount power is getting sent to the atomizer/coil. There's a lot of things that could go wrong, worst case scenario is the battery blowing up.
  7. I bought one of these after buying Tony's kit. At least I have some spare parts
  8. 2016 must be the year of the Hero! Lots of Hero builds and I see great things coming out of my home state of GA!
  9. My wife absolutely loves how much I've spent in money and time!
  10. 24 hours is ideal but I've definitely glued one part at night and then glued the other the next afternoon. The longer you wait, the better though.
  11. Gotta give something for you TKs sitting on imperial cruisers to do
  12. Some people stick with the canon star piece of foam, others choose ACH pads, and some use hard hat liners. I use a hard hat liner and it perfectly lines my eyes up with my bucket lines and leaves me plenty of room for my electronics.
  13. A lot of guys use 3M Glazing putty. If I knew that it comes in white too it would have saved me a lot of time but I only had it in like a clay red color.
  14. Good job! When you get everything put together and do final fitments, you'll discover areas that you may want to remove more return edge from. Armor bites suck!
  15. Just like in the military, if your armor/equipment is too shiny that means it's not being used
  16. The ab plate is not symmetrical. If you want a detailed tutorial for this section, check out any one of ukswrath's build threads. I did exactly like he did except I used snaps instead of the s-snaps.
  17. What's left besides waiting for the TM bucket?
  18. That's hardcore. I ended up using large strips of velcro in addition to snaps.
  19. To fix that issue with the bottom of the thigh, just glue in a small rectangle of scrap ABS on each side and clamp it. If you plan on cutting out notches, it won't matter.
  20. You could always stay on ATA's list and make it a TD.
  21. The S trim will be fine. I use the style from trooperbay though but found Gaz's source and get it much cheaper. I forget the actual model #. If you need it, PM me. My electronics are mainly held in with industrial velcro. For my wires and mic, they are secured with electrical tape. Help up fine on a long troop so no worries. Still on Echo's fan list as that bracket will hide a lot of the wiring.
