  1. I wouldn't trust magnets to hold armour to my belt.
  2. Looks better than sme suits of armour I've seen on e-bay. Looks ice (sic) Wonder what sort of filling it is?
  3. How thin are your forearms? Try them for size first before you cut. I had to cut a fair bit off my forearm armour, but I cut the majority of it off the other side so I kept the detail.
  4. One build is much like another. Pandatrooper has an awesome build thread, I don't have a link, sorry. Just do a search and you'll find it. If you need any more advice then post about it and I'm sure someone will help you out.
  5. Yeah scroll to the bottom of the web-page and on the bottom left it'll say 'change theme'.
  6. If you mean you don't want to trim anything at all, then you're gonna be out of luck as you'll have to cut it to fit you properly. No matter which maker you go with. Honestly, it's not as hard as you think. Use the tips and build threads all over the forums, you'll achieve your goal.
  7. Just use a grey PVC pipe. Or am I missing something?
  8. FX armour is pretty darn big. The helmet is huge no matter how big your head is. I'd not bother buying it if I were you.
  9. Looks like you're off to a fantastic start. Don't think there's anything I can offer, yo seem to have it covered.
  10. Thanks for the link. Guy is a complete douche.
  11. I posted about this a little while ago. I'd like to play it, but my laptop isn't powerful enough, sadly.
  12. Don't think I'm familiar with this fella. I'm not a member of the RPF, so can someone clue me in?
  13. I can't post a pic of it, but inside mine I have foam at the top, a fan and my Rom F/X.
  14. Happy Christmas to everyone at the FISD (My second family).
  15. On a semi-related note. I use a stanley chest to transport my E-drums. Not that they go anywhere, but I have one should I ever need to transport it anywhere.
  16. What's wrong with the helmet? It looks grand to me. Or do you mean you're replacing it with an ESB or ROTJ bucket?
  17. Hmm. Are they clearable? I'm not sure of the shape and the side elastic looks huge. Might just be the pictures, though.
  18. Congrats on your first troop. I did my first troop this week and I can understand you when you talk about your armour. I had one or two issues with mine - the cod being one of them. It was fine at first, but after 4 hours it started to dig in a bit. Now you've done your fist troop, you know what needs to be altered before your next one.
  19. Yeah you need to pick a bag or case depending on how you're gonna transport the armour. As Ill most likely always use the train, I chose a big sports bag type thing. It has wheels on it, but it isn't a suitcase. It's big enough to hold everything minus my lid and as it's soft I can just put it on the seat next to me.
  20. ATA would fit you well. I'm 5' 10" and 10 stone. I don't have ATA armour but it will fit you. I'd avoid RT mod as you'll end up cutting away a huge portion of it. Also try and avoid getting the eFX helmet. It's rather on the large side and looks like one of those bobble head dolls.
  21. 14" forearms? Dayum. That's as big as my biceps! lol. Yeah looks like you'll probably need to get hold of some new ones. RT mod should be cool. Best thing to do is get in touch with the various armour makers and give them your measurements and they'll be able to sort you out.
  22. Just tried skyrim which has similar minimum specs and it runs like an asthmatic ant with some heavy bags. So I guess I won't be getting the game now.
