  1. Mine is HUGE on me. As far as I'm aware there is no 'cut-off' point or anything like that.
  2. You could just get him to wear a Han solo costume as Lando did 'borrow' one at the end of Empire
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Storm-Trooper-Helmet-Star-Wars-Life-size-1-1-Nice-replica-wearable-/260863970930?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_Film_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item3cbcb44e72 Not sure who tha maker of this helmet is. It looks a bit strange. The brow looks like a solid piece of plastic painted black. There doesn't seem to be any teeth, just a solid black frown. Tube stripes are the wrong colour. More issues can be seen. I'm not interested in buying it, just wondering who the maker was.
  4. There's stormtroopers in the pictures? Sorry I was far too busy drooling over princess Leia AKA Carrie Fisher. I've had a crush on her since I was about 5.
  5. Just got a PM from him and he said he's good to go. He should be posting here shortly. Thanks for getting it sorted for him.
  6. Got a reply from him today saying he still hasn't had the email and still can't gain access. He's checked his junk email folder and there's nothing there. He has given me another e-mail address. mbrooks@havering-college.ac.uk I don't know if this is any good to you. Is there anything I can do to help him or you guys?
  7. Yeah they are a bit big on you. Best advice is to take them apart and cut them to fit you. You shouldn't have too much of an issue seperating the pieces.
  8. Ok I have sent him a PM so I'll wait to hear back from him. Hopefuly he can access the forums. Thanks.
  9. Hi all. Got a PM on the UKG forum from a member who has tried to register on the forum here, but hasn't been able to gain access. He registered last sunday. His forum name is funkster and his email is mrfluffy@hotmail.com Can anyone look into this for me so I can get back to him? Maybe he needs to have his authentication email resent to him. Cheers.
  10. Hmm I'll have to check. It definately doesn't have greedo shooting first or a badly rendered Jabba the hutt or any updated FX. I believe it was an extra DVD that came with the first special edition version and it a direct rip of the laserdisc version. It might not be 100% exactly like the 1977 cinema release, but it's the best you'll get.
  11. I'd not get a MRCE helmet if I were you. If you want a good helmet get one from ATA or TM or one of the other makers. You won't need to mod it to be cleared either.
  12. I wouldn't bother to be honest. There's stuff missing, the helmet is an FX helmet and only looks good on a shelf. On your head you'll look like one of those bobblehead dolls. The boots ae not clearable, they're Elvis boots. There's stuff missing. You'd need to tim it to fit you if it was too big (Obviously) and if you're bigger than how big the amour is, you're stuffed. It MIGHT and I do mean MIGHT be worth getting just to nab the voice changer and fans. But that's the only things worth anything in my opinion.
  13. Looking at the armour I can't say for certain who the maker is. The helmet is missing it's ear bumps...The eyes look a bit...odd. There are several armour makers on the forums here. ATA, TM, CFO and loads more. You can get a really great suit and you can get one for $500 easily.
  14. I'm FIRMLY in the camp of "F you, Lucas and your constant alterations!" I have not and I WILL NOT buy the blu ray release. I own the UNALTERED DVD release and that's all I'll ever own unless GL decides to release an unaltered blu ray. Prequels all suck and now he's making the original trilogy start to suck. He absolutely RUINED ROTJ with Vader saying "Noooo..Nooooooooo!" There was absolutely NO NEED to add that dialogue it turned a great scene into a stupid scene.
  15. Yeah this is a great video and has been popping up everywhere. I'm another one who had a simmilar reaction as a small child when I saw the film first. "WOW....Darf vader is his dad?"
  16. Hmm. I don't think anything can be done to restore them or at least nothing I can think of. Maybe one of the more skilled armourers can suggest something. If the thighs didn't fit, you need to remove some material from the TOP of the thighs, not the bottom - but I guess that's obvious to you now.
  17. Post some pictures to help us a bit. There should be little indentations or lines that'll indicate where to cut. You then trim it further if you need to.
  18. Uh huh! Ohh momma. (Say in in an Elivs voice) They cost over 100? Where the hell did he get those from? Ugh. Another reason I wish people knew the facts and not 'the facts'.
  19. You mean split pins that are use to attach pieces of paper together/ Like in school?
  20. Yeah trim it up a bit but not too much. If you trim it to where Lucas has indicated and it's still too tight, you might be better off selling the lid and getting a bigger one.
  21. Yeah it's hard putting a set of TK armour together with little room. I do have a cellar, but I put my armour together back last winter and it was too cold to be down there for long so I put it together in 1 of the rooms in the house. You can start with the helmet then work on the smaller parts first like the biceps and forearms. Once you gain confidence - if you lack any that is - you should move on to the larger parts.
