  1. Thats a sweet helmet. Looks really, really good. You did a cracking job on it.
  2. I've seen some crap masks in my time, but that REALLY takes the cake. I bet it looks 'dark' (sic) good in the dark from a few feet away. I've made better looking things out of paper mache when I was just doing a test.
  3. Reading this has now made me a little worried. My suit is aparently 'FX' armor. I'm 5'10" and about 10 stone 144lbs or 66KG. I have no clue if it'll require trimming or not, I will have to wait till it comes back. Another 'problem' is it's pre-trimmed and strapped. Ugh. If only I found this place BEFORE I bought the armor.
  4. This truly is disgusting behaviour and not something I have encountered several times before. I got stiffed on a $200 latex mask many moons ago and also got stiffed on a $100 hockey mask and latex mask. This is the kind of thing that put me off collecting anything for over 4 years. I hope something comes from this and the scammer is taken to the cleaners. I'm not sure what the local cops would do, but something should happen. Fraud is fraud. The staff here seem to have done everything possible and I can only applaud them for their great work.
  5. Just adding another "I emailed them and they're expecting more in this week" but you'll probaby be put on the backorder list. Even though I'm in the UK, I'm not 100% wure what type of chelsea boot I'd need to buy or how to paint it white to look good enough, so I think I'll just import a TK pair as it's easier.
  6. I wouldn't mind winning it. If it wasn't to my liking I could always sell it and use the money to get a better kit.
  7. Penblwydd hapus. Happy birthday to you.
  8. The mask frown on one of those buckets looks...odd to me. Not sure whats up with it. Also noticed the chest plate tucked in like chunkaholic mentioned and the different hand plates. Not bad vids other wise.
  9. I'm in Wales, UK near Cardiff/Swansea, (probably won't know those places unless you come from the UK) so not a whole lot of conventions etc go on around here as far as I'm aware, so I was wondering what you guys do when it comes to trooping? Do you stay localy or go further afield for your troops? If you do travel, do you go in a group or on your own? Anyone here actualy gone to another country to troop? Trooping away might have issues for me because of work as I work almost every weekend, I only get 1 in 6 weekends off. But I hope to at the very least do a couple per year. (Pending costume clearence of course) I'd love to hear what you guys and galls do in this respect.
  10. It can only get better from here.
  11. I saw this a little while ago when I was looking for armor. $2500 is a HUGE sum of money. Even if you have no idea how to piece together your own suit from a kit, or you're too lazy, I'd still not pay anywhere near that price. Adding the words '501st' might make some people think. "Whoa, that's awesome. No need to mess around. I'll take it!"
