  1. Here's what mine looks like http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22161-bjs-cfo-rotj-build/ I would totally recommend it.
  2. Looks as comfortable as it is accurate. :-O
  3. I believe that's a Darman holster. Just contact him on here. He'd probably prefer that.
  4. Drop by this weekend. We'll fix you up & take some new pics.
  5. Ah yes. I was correct. You proved my point. "There shall be no seam on the front of the boot (e.g. CABoots are not allowed)."
  6. I like Evilboy's fans. He has a thread on pretty much every detachment where you might wear a helmet.
  7. Perhaps basic, but there is an inaccurate seam on the top inner side of the boot. I could be wrong, but I doubt that would pass EIB.
  8. I do feel that there should always be a TK or two thrown in the mix, because thats what most people like to see at events, and they are just plain cool. Having said that, I have a lot of different costumes, all of which are screen accurate. I did not create them out of comfort or price point, but just the fact that I like them and they are a part of Star Wars. I don't have much sympathy for those poor lost soles (who are adult fans) that don't recognize a screen accurate imperial officer, or a TIE pilot, or a Snow Trooper. We're not there for those folks who have so little knowledge of Star Wars that they call TIE pilots Darth Vader & any clone Capt Rex. Those people should just go home, watch the movies, then come back and try again. We are there for those folks who jump for joy when they see a Navy Trooper, or a Tusken, or a Biker Scout and congratulate us on how accurate they look and how happy we made their kids! Of course not to mention....the kids. They love everything! ...Well usually. heh.
  9. You could get these & paint them white. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LZT92C/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    ANH in Navajo

Yeah, I heard about that. Thats pretty awesome!
  11. I may not be uber-correct in doing this, but I just used primer on my TD.
  12. Looks like the vinyl one I had when I was 6. lol.
  13. Most of SQ7 all use Underarmor. It really helps with the heat. I like Eastbay too. It's a good bit cheaper.
  14. ABS is probably cheaper and easier to work with. I think RS is really the only maker that currently uses PVC. I've only experienced ABS & HIPS & I definitely prefer the ABS over HIPS. I can't speak for the PVC, but I know many troopers love the RS for the reasons you mention. As for "beginners", I think the level of skill needed to assemble either material is basically the same.
