  1. It seems like he means the parents who shove their kids at you for a pic (no matter what costume you're wearing), and the poor kid wants none of it. I hate that too. Real awkward. lol.
  2. It should be just like gluing together the rest of the armor. If you've got the pieces right where you need them and never need to unglue them, use some CA glue to secure them.
  3. Makes sense. Most people need to ask at least a few questions before they drop money on anything. As well as at least say hello to the gang.
  4. Looks fine to me. I wouldn't worry about it.
  5. Good choice. If you have the extra $, go for trimmed. It'd be less work for you, BUT, remember, it might possibly add a bit more wait time to your order.
  6. I really suggest you don't buy that kit off eBay. It looks terrible, even with a new bucket. When you try to join a garrison with that, they might pass you, but will probably think "why didn't you check FSID first?". I recommend you go with an ATA or AP and just accept with the longer wait. You'll be happy you did in the long run.
  7. Awesome news! Thank goodness for poor spelling. lol.
  8. It was just working the other day. Wierd. Maybe it's just down for a while.
  9. Take your time, ask questions, and do plenty of research before you buy anything. Everything mentioned is very good advice. Its really a balance of how much money you want to spend, how accurate you want to be, and how long you can be patient waiting for armor.
  10. A small gap, yes, but nothing more than a seam really.
  11. I'd turn back around and stick it right back on eBay, re-sell it, then get a decent one from one of our many vendors here.
  12. There is a chance Slavefive might have one left. I got mine from him.
  13. That helmet is close to being right, but as mentioned, not quite. Plus, since you'll need the rest of the armor, you might as well get a whole kit. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  14. Agreed. I'd just get new ones if they're really bothering you.
  15. Hahaha! What a piece of junk! That thing wouldn't even pass for a Deathtrooper!
  16. Thats how I did mine. It turned out nicely. All good advice though. You are making great progress with this build. I'm anxious to see more. Kudos for keeping at it so diligently.
  17. The trim on my ROTJ armor is about a 1/2 inch wide.
  18. Yeah, the best looking armor usually has a lot of time and effort put into it, but it is awesome experience. Be sure to ask lots of questions & post pictures.
  19. At least there are prop makers that readily sell accurate ones.
