Man! Some kids are just A__ Holes! They're lucky they didn't pull that crap in Florida. We'd have fed them to Roxy the Rancor!
I'm glad that guy caught himself.
Looks good. Nothing sticks out to me to prevent EIB.
Although, you might want to paint your inner drop boxes. It might be the lighting, but they look a bit yellow.
FX is kind of it's own stylized stormtrooper. It was fan-sculpted with details combined from all three movies, so you can go pretty much go any route. It can even be made into ROTJ with a little work. Most people seem to prefer ANH.
ATA also offers the ESB hand plates. So if your helmet hasn't shipped yet, you can ask for a set of those.
Well, I'm no armor lineage expert, but I've had AP armor and it's kidney/ab area is clearly a bit smaller than an ATA, which is also TE derived. It would leave a slightly bigger gap on even a very thin person.
AP is notorious for having huge gaps in the sides. Probably from shallower vacuform tables I'd guess. Screen accurate armor has slightly longer kidney plates & ab plates to help close the side gap. Elastic won't be acceptable. I'd do like Craig suggested & get some cheap for-sale signs from Walmart and cut them to size with the side gaps.
If you can either bring the chest & back plate down or bring the ab & kidney up just a bit, it would look a lot better. The chest barely goes over the ab on your left side and there is a slight gap on your right side. Something could just be a bit crooked. You might want to wait till you get your correct undersuit before you adjust anything else. That could make a big difference there. The legs look alright to me.
