I have work ad probably won't be able to do anything. but I have already seen the Avengers so I don't feel too bad.

I mount mine next to my temples, and the padding keeps them from digging in. The air blows around the front of my face, right over the visor. They can be loud, I think it comes down to how they are mounted, but I'm not sure. They generally aren't too bad.

Unless it's a fan sculpt it's recast from something at some point in time. Recasting fan sculpts like RTA has done is just dirty and hence why everyone gets up in arms about it.

There are a few threads on this already, the search bar is your friend. I'd find a link but I'm on my phone so eh. I use a big $60 bag from Aussie Disposals, it is big enough to fit my whole kit, it's light, has wheels and a telescopic handle. I'm building a frame for it to make it solid as well and will add all-round padding eventually. It's also gonna have FISD and my local garrison's patches on it. it'll be totally pimped.

Just wait mate, I'm working on a mod that's gonna blow everyone away.

Nah man looks legit. jks

When I try make armour I am gonna document it so much to avoid this kind of stuff. Although that won't be for a while yet.

Hopefully they at least get banned from selling it on any forums..it's ludicrous to even try and defend these moulds as legit. They clearly aren't.

Eh, I haven't modified my AM chest and back yet and until I do I don't want to have them connected. The chest plate is actually connected to my abdomen armour, and it's all help in place by the arms and all. It works quite well at the moment actually. I'll see how it goes once I modify it and trim it down.

I use home-made suspenders and they work a treat...don't know why everyone is bagging them out. I simply sewed in a sternum and shoulder blade strap that stops it from moving up and down at all. Then boom, no movement, nice positioning, cost me about $10 for the elastic.

I hate to sound like a picky douche but in the thread title it should be 'requirements' not 'requierments'. Sorry but I can't help picking these things up. I know it was most likely a typo or something.

Aker & ICom Ć¢ā¬ā VOX or PTT and why?
Spectre replied to Sparrow's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
Someone said they were gonna do it a while ago..not sure if that eventuated. It'd be awesome to give it a shot though. Hell, next time I catch up with the local members we might brainstorm ways to do it. -
She's fallen!...to..to the light..from the dark..that's how it works right? Good on her, she'll come to the dark side soon enough.

What is a fair price for this bucket?
Spectre replied to James's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Seeing such tidy insides makes me wanna rework mine. Jeez, now that I've seen what can be done I wanna make mine look shmick like that. (Also the MTK is a badass bucket. ) -
Thanks Josh. It's a fun build to do, for sure. The only better thing I think about PVC is that it's easier to cut and all that, but the aluminium has the weight and metal feel to it, which I think outweighs the slightly more difficult cutting. With the right tools it'd be easy, but I was using a dremel for most of it. But yeah, PVC is totally an option, just depends on what you have available/want to use. It'll be finished soon hopefully.

That looks pretty cool, and it is resin? I might do that, it looks prett good.

So this has been dead a while and I didn't want this thread to end up like countless others that sorta float around almost finished. Tonight I re-attached some parts to my blaster since they fell off. I got my dad to help me drill the holes cos I was afraid of cracking the resin, and it did slightly crack at one point (not enough to do any irreperable damage though) but in the end it's all good. The rear sight and scope rail are now screwed on, as are the scope, counter bracket and Hengstler counter. Just gotta repaint it and then wait for thew power cylinder kit to finish it. Screws holding the scope to the rail and the counter bracket to the rail. Screw holding the scope rail/rear sight to the blaster. (a little off-centre :/) Screw holding the counter to the bracket/scope rail.

It feels awesome. When I first wore it I couldn't stop smiling haha it's a really euphotic feeling that first time. -

I haven't been very active lately (real life is taking precedence at the moment. :/) But I did finally finish my suit last night (except for the blaster, but it looks the part). Since the photos I added straps to the shoulder bells to go around the biceps and snaps to the ab plate to hold the belt up (which stops the drop boxes from flailing out like they are the shots), so just imagine those in the photos. Here are my approval pics: FRONT: BACK: LEFT: RIGHT: ACTION: BUCKET OFF: -

Yeah Brian I didn't like the way they had come up at all. It's also a requirement for basic approval for the drop boxes to be under the plastic tabs on the ends of the plastic face now. D: So, I've actually done something! I was tired of moping about and not doing anything on my armour, so I bought some pipe and a new can of gray spraypaint today and cut the pipe to length and painted it. It's now drying outside overnight and I will glue on the end caps and control panel tomorrow afternoon. I also finished adjusting the drop boxes, and tomorrow I will touch up the strapping on my armour. I need to sew velcro onto a few more straps for the chest and back plates to be held down instead of flapping around and lifting up/falling down too far. Also on the agenda tomorrow is drilling out the rivets in the thigh ammo pack and replacing them with the cap rivets from seantrooper. O2 canister drying. The its sticking out are masking tape, I decided not to paint the parts where I need glue to go, I don't want to risk messing up the join. Drop boxes brought down and moved around under the ends of the belt face. Small Centurion detail, added a split rivet (non-functional) to the cod. More to come tomorrow night. -
Haha yeah I could do that. I'll let him wait and see for himself how innacurate it is compared to ours and everyone else's, he'll change it soon enough.
