  1. Hey there fellow troopers! Just wanna show you guys my finished vt helmet that I sort of completed today. I just need to put the lens, necktrim, padding and a little fan i have inside my fx and it's troopable!
  2. how'd you paint the resin pieces so nicely? i paint them and the surface after the paint makes contact it gets all bubbly
  3. Yeah kirby, the "AM" It's just the same as the old FX. and it is huge huge huge. I've got some pictures in my facebook of my VT and my AM/FX side-to-side comparing sizes and it is extremely big. You could probably sell it after you build it, most buyers want things already pre-builded so they don't have to go throught the amazing build process
  4. Have you finished installing the ejection port?
  5. Nice! Looking foward for it!
  6. Good luck with your build! I have a VT helmet myself and it's very, very awesome
  7. Once I figure out how to finish my VT helmet and some little details in my AM armor, I'll shoot
  8. The AM kit's helmet is the same as the old FX but with a reshaped dome, but it is not EIB acceptable
  9. It might not weight a lot, but it may take a lot of space from your helmet IMO. But it looks good
  10. I wanna go red but messa don't have the guts to paint
  11. Sorry to bump into this thread, but I'm having difficulties painting resin pieces too. I use Rustoleum Metallic (silver) as a primer, but the paint doesn't bonds well and leaves bubbles
  12. Haha the first picture taken at the Junkyard, you look just like an action figure!
  13. I love Sandy, but since I don't have the guts to paint it, I'll just say I like the HWT. Going to start building the Pack one of these days
  14. On my habro, I gave it like 3 coats of silver primer plus 6 coats of black (lol), I thought my t tracks wouldn't glue, but I used abs glue with my fingers crossed, and it hasn't let me down at all. And I didn't even sanded it down where i was going to glue them on
  15. Wow!! Just wow! After looking at your pictures I just can't believe it's a hasbro (as Rick said, whatever's left from the hasbro!) I don't know of any word that would describe this work of art!
  16. I did not went through the process of building my armor (got help from a local trooper), but I was there and I saw it wasn't that hard. It's just putting the piece where it should go and cut You could always use the help of a local trooper
  17. Hey there troops, a while ago and I thought it might make a good guide for those who might want to take their blaster for extreme accuracy I guess--------- http://www.partsofsw.com/e11guide.htm
  18. My kit gives me the option of being TD also, so i'm saving that for the future. But I've got a small problem. My AB buttons box sticks out a lot and eventhough the spectators won't notice, but I do and i'm a 100% i need to do something about that for EIB
  19. Oh dang! But can it be repaired?
  20. Thanks! I'll wait for them anxiously!
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/STORMTROOPER-E-11-PIPE-BLASTER-BASE-DETAILING-KIT-OFFER-/290496321469?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item43a2ee17bd#ht_6006wt_905 I found this on eBay and it looked really good. Might even permanently change and give the hasbro a vacation if I get this!
  22. Same here, It's still temporarily unavaliable
  23. True. Nothing is else is better out there than to get help by the local garrison and help you with the build. That's what I did, and I learned a lot. Skills I will use in the future for a more accurate kit. Don't quit man, you can do it!
