  1. thanks, i will try that
  2. I sent them an e-mail and turns out they do not ship to the US.. bummer
  3. Hey there troopers, I just wanna show you all my nearly finished E-11. All that I'm missing is the inner spring, power cylinders and the rail for the scope and hengslter counter to go on. But here are some pictures of how i'm doing so far Here is the M38 scope The Counter and the bolt inside (i haven't 'installed' it yet, i just slided it in just to take the picture) I'm really happy with it. Looks very good in person and it's not too heavy. What i'm uncomfortable with is its shininess, can it be shiny like that for EIB? Thanks for checking it out
  4. Is there a tutorial around on how to assemble rivets?
  5. I might go and trim my AM's forearms since they don't have any return edge. Do the biceps have return edge or it can be trimmed too?
  6. As Pandatrooper always recommends, start with the biceps first. It's easier and if any little accident occurs, it won't be very visible.
  7. Quick update. I ordered some decals from mike and this is the final product. I hope i placed them correctly this time.
  8. I just wanna start off by saying Merry Christmas to all of you troopers! As a tradition of mine, I always like to give thanks to good things that have happened to me during all the year (something like similar to thanksgiving, but sitting besides a tree!). First off, friends and family, who's been great and supporting about me spending a lot of money in this hobby! The local troopers for helping me and letting me troop at their side, making me feel wonderful each time I put on that shiny white armor that makes me feel like a kid all over again! The FISD community, who without you I don't know where I would be right now if it wasn't without you guys. Everyday, waking up exited to see what new information can be found so I can make upgrades to my armor, that if it weren't for you guys, my armor would be rubbish. The 501st Legion, who I never thought I would be a member of. I always saw it as a dream of mine, which was completely out of reach, and was only a thing I would just admire and not experience. But somehow, it all changed. Once I recieved and assembled my armor, I thought it would be something "cool" to try out, but that cool thing slowly blossomed into a huge passion. It blossomed into something I actually see myself doing for the rest of my life. And it's not just "cosplaying" as a Stormtrooper. It's BEING a Stormtrooper, a Star Wars character, who I've literally worshiped since I was a kid (not too long ago!). The Legion isn't only a costuming group to me, it's a family to me, it's a way of life, something that makes me feel like a better person. Watching each kid get scared at me, but once I shake their hands, their smiles of "oh, he's a good guy!" completely brightens up my day! Merry Christmas to you all, and thank you all for helping each newbie that goes through here. Without you, we wouldn't be anything!
  9. Nice choice with the Nomex! I've got them and they're fantastic! But after trooping, i don't know why but looks like the black is dyed and the dye tends to spread in your hands and it's quite tough to get out. That's what I like to call battle scars!
  10. My friend, recently joined the FISD but doesn't knows how to post appropriately, so I'm doing him a favor.. He's 5'9, he weights around 122 lbs and is looking for good, cheap armor.. thought the experts might help him out. Would be greatly appreciated. His name is soccer_trooper
  11. Merry Christmas from Puerto Rico!
  12. Felicidades a ti tambien, pero creo que hiciste este post en la seccion equivocada. Creo que aquĆ seria mas apropiado
  13. have any idea what type of hand paint i would need for the frown and ears?
  14. Very nice.. It would make a very good prop to display it around the house
  15. That's a nice life size Sandtrooper action figure you've got there..
  16. Too bad then.. I was hoping I would buy one from them, since it's one of the cheapest DLT's I've seen until now
  17. Thanks. That's what I needed to know. And yeah, they ship outisde of UK I've ordered a few things from them before
  18. http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtroopersandtrooper-dlt-19-heavy-blaster-mk2-841-p.asp Is this any good? I'm wondering if anyone around here has got this and has something to say about it. I'm going for HWT in a nearby future and also having that around and trooping with it could be fun too. My E-11 needs some well deserved vacations
  19. Quick update! I took the dremel and I toned down the eyes a little bit according to the pictures that Jesse kindly showed to me. I tried to make them look the same, but I'm still full of doubts if it's okay or not.
  20. I'm 218 and 5'9 and AM fits me like a glove
  21. I asked DoopyDoos for a tracking number but they told me "No tracking number when shipped via normal airmail"
  22. I think it depends where you live. I live in Puerto Rico and it took about 2 weeks to get here.
  23. Bummer, but thanks for the tips to you all! I will get to work first hour tomorrow on it. I already have some tube decals on the way, so I'll go trim the eyes and ears and upload once again pictures of the final result.
  24. Thanks, I should get to work with it immediately. i was very scared that i was going to ruin it.. it was my first helmet build!
