  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/Stormtrooper-Armor-Helmet-Star-Wars-A-New-Hope-VT-501st_W0QQitemZ250707118649QQihZ015QQcategoryZ60361QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Found this right now. It looks good, but I wouldn't want to buy it without consulting it with you guys. If its good, would it look good with the AM armor?
  2. This is a very good job. I think I'll do this later.. The Hasbro ain't that big for my hands
  3. Hahaha, trust me I really know what you mean there. My first step was staring at the armor for about 30 minutes. Staring at its beauty! I held together the bucket with adhesive tape.. good for a while but when i removed it left an unholy mess! But it was good for a while, now assembled it's even better!
  4. I connected my shoulder bells and the forearm piece with the strap that was included with the AM kit but since I've got a crappy snap plier (and I don't know where to get a good one) the snap is very loose and it keeps slipping off. I kinda messed up my left strap so I'm looking for a replacement. What other material could I use as a strap?
  5. Mostly because I feel amazing when I'm rocking the white armor. Second, you can see the other peoples faces and make them happy! that's what I most love about costuming. Making myself and others happy! I, before I didn't had a stormtrooper armor, If I suddenly saw a guy standing dressed as a Stormtrooper ( or any other star wars character) I'd get crazy and i'd like to take millions of pictures with him! So that's why I troop, because I just know people have the same feeling as I did back when I didn't rocked the white armor!
  6. Looking good! I'm looking foward to go trooping with Revan!
  7. I salute you sir! This is one of the greatest things I have seen! If I had the time, patience and dough I would like to try it too but It wouldn't look as good as yours!
  8. Very impressive this was! I think i'm going to do this myself with left over plastic i've got lying around to scratch my itchy back whenever i feel the desire The question is, hot o bend it. I don't got the fancy tools so I can bend it like that but I'm sure ( I HOPE ) that a lighter will just do the trick for this.
  9. Will ABS cement work (came with my AM kit) as good as the welder you used?
  10. what i did is i took a piece of left over plastic and glued it to the open side, closing it. then using a knife to cut it open matching where the buttons go. then i velcroed them, making the piece stay in place. still, it's velcro i Wouldn't count on it. but it worked for me. and it's easier for me to remove the velcro rather than using a glue and having to remove it later
  11. On the ab plate, where the buttons go (sorry, i'm new to this armor thing) I'm having problems getting the box to stay in place. Also after i finally get it to stay put with velcro, when i bend down it falls off. What can I do to make it stay in place? People tell me to glue the box in the chest so it would stay permanently, but I want to leave it like that so I can remove and repaint the buttons easier and I can also be a Sandtrooper in the future. Anyone got any tips?
