I'm not an ROTJ expert, but after checking the CRL for a moment, it doesn't says anything about strapping underneath the shoulder bridges. (And yes, for us ANH/ESB troopers, we use white strapping.) 03. Shoulder Straps: These must be securely mounted in front and may free float in back. They may be affixed with rivets, Velcro, or adhesive. No visible rivets are allowed. Shoulder straps should not have a flat end at the ends of them, they should be ribbed 100%. These must be glued in front. These must be secured in in back. Should straps must be made foam other of flexible material instead of rigid plastic. ooh, red font!

me too, I will purchase an ATA helmet kit soon, and this thread can be really useful for us, but people don't reply often and it keeps getting buried with time and pinning it would make it easier to find

mine sat just like that. i just took a little bit of e6000 and a clamp and glued the floating area. hope it helps

I sat down and used my brain for a while.. for the butt part, would heating the tail and trying to bend it a little bit closer would work?

It all stays put when you appropriately strap your armor. The biceps stay in place when you use a strap that goes from the inside of the bicep to the shoulder bell. And as for the thigh and calves trimming, I will let an expert handle that area since I'm not experienced in it, but yes, the whole armor can be trimmed to fit you right. ---------
