very nice indeed.. you just need to remove the black on the thermal detonator (the pipe needs to be all gray). other than that you are good to go should be a easy fix -

quick work on the fixes Juan!! and the blaster looks like a million $$$ now Approved! and great work trooper -
yes that is a 9301 based chip, should work fine. but i have seen the cheaper in kit form. also the 9600 chips allow for multiple sounds but are a bit larger in size. the trick is to get a good line out signal from your PC or audio device to get HQ sounds, this requires a small modification to the PCB, you must replace the microphone with a 1/8" or RCA audio line in jack

there are a few ways you can do this. 1: find an existing device that plays a sound similar to what you want and remove the electronics. (the easy way ) 2: a scrapbook recording chip is very inexpensive---------- these will work, but the chips have a low shelf-life and the sound quality is lacking. it is very simple to use and modify for direct input from a PC. 3: build a circuit using a APR9600 or APR9301 Record and playback IC (the hard way ) 4: if the gun is large enough you can use a sony PSP with my custom software-------.. but this method will require changing the WAV files to what you want and modifying the PSP's firmware, and is the most costly and time consuming method

looking really good Juan! i glad you finally took the plunge a few small things i would like to see fixed. the butt plate has a little too much of a tail. if there is a strap to the codpeice i would tighten it up a bit. also your shin overlaps are reversed. they should be like this http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9909&st=0&p=125153&hl=shin%20overlap&fromsearch=1entry125153 lastly, the weathering on the blaster is a bit much IMHO. it is not a requirement, but i really dont want to see white resin showing through. otherwise than that the blaster looks fantastic. i would spray a thin coat of black over the entire blaster also note that inner drop boxes are a not required for EIB but are nice to have -

Best time or temperature to paint?
dashrazor replied to LittleOne's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
if it is really cold (below freezing) the paint can freeze on contact to the plastic creating a ugly speckled effect.. ideally i usually try to wait until it is around +35 degrees before painting anything with a large surface area. i also allow for extra dry times when painting in cold weather. 1-2 weeks i leave the painted parts outside in my garage for a few days just to allow the paint to partially dry before moving inside.. (this helps prevent condensation from forming on the newly painted surface) also be sure to do several very thin coats or you may run into problems -

How would you create runny paint and such
dashrazor replied to LittleOne's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
dish soap makes an outstanding runny effect drip dish soap on the area that you want to create a run spray paint over the dishsoap run (rustolium works best),let dry then rise off the soap. it helps to differ the color of the paint for contrast slightly when doing this..this creates a run effect that is smooth to the touch an still has the 3D runn effect.. water can also be used to make a spotted effect if sprayed on the workpiece with a spray bottle.. both these methods work with enamel model paints or good quality spray paints, any enamel paint should work (an airbrush works the best but canned paint works fine) also you want to spray the paint at a near horizontal angle as to mist only a portion of the water or soap, dont spray directly onto the area you want to create a run, the trick is to paint about 1/2 of the liquid here is an example of this method, i used the water spray effect and dish soap on my guitar to create the runny effect. but it is completely smooth unlike a real runny paintjob. this video shows how to do the effect with droplets but you can create runs with the same method and it explains the contrast effect if i were trying to create a white runny paintjob i would first paint a high gloss white base coat then apply the soap/water runs then mist with a coat of slightly off white or flat white to create the contrast, seal with a clear acrylic then polish/wax... but i tend to do things the hard way -
