  1. i wouldn't advise filling anything on a faceplate unless it is a EFX or MRCE.. but pics would help
  2. i would just loop the holster as it is not really a part of the actual costume, more of a convenience thing (a place to stick your blaster) if you want to attach i would attach it in ROTJ style, on the right held with 2 rivets.. another direct relation to ROTJ.. most troopers on screen had no holster, i think out of all the scenes i could only spot 3 and those were on the right
  3. good luck!!
  4. karin is correct go to your profile/settings/Change Display Name. then enter a new name
  5. hmm..?? im looking at some new pics and there are rivets on both the left and right of the TD -------- looks like 8 total rivets and they are silver
  6. i am working on that part right now id say a normal rivet would work, but filling the hole looks a little better to me. JB weld works good for filling the rivets
  7. more legacy era armor shots --------
  8. Juan, like i said in the other post and PM's canvas is fine. you might want to dye them all black as well. it will look a lot better without the white thread showing IMO and if going for centurion you'll need to remove the 4th pouch on the side
  9. pristine! another easy pass well done trooper!
  10. found a good closeup of the details on the helmet back. in issue #5 ----------
  11. well it does say the O2 canister is the movie accurate tube type with no silver strips arg
  12. found it! this is all the RPG had for refs------
  13. found the big gun, still going through all my data. the problem is i have 15 gigs of it (just text and pics) im trying to track down the Legacy Era Campaign Guide now BB-23 heavy blaster cannon It was a devastating weapon when used against grouped enemies. It was larger than most standard blasters and could be braced to provide additional support. It provided a large amount of fire, and could wreak havoc on groups of ground personnel that were too close together. Its main drawbacks were its size and copious use of ammunition. Despite the gun's power, it expended a great deal of energy, and required a new power pak after every four shots.
  14. a little upgrade to the e-11 from the legacy era ( but i really like that huge gun) The ARC-9965 was a significant upgrade over the E-11, and it was designed with accuracy in mind. To achieve the desired result, designers consulted some of the best sharpshooters in the galaxy. The accuracy came at a price, though; the high-energy bolts required more energy and resulted in decreased ammunition capacity
  15. found this artwork for the armor with some specs too
  16. dont know how i missed this here is a start, ill see what i can dig up for more references ------
  17. shims are fine for all levels. you are allowed a 1/2 " side gap, so either shim the 1" or snug it up a bit to gain the 1/2" . as long as the shim matches the armor in color and material you'll be ok. for EI the rivets are fine, but if you dont want to buy a new leg for centurion just take out the rivet and glue the sniper plate on. after it dries, fill the holes with white putty. my knee is riveted also, i think i will try to putty/paint over the rivet and hide it
  18. well. that makes me think it is another component that is failing.. could be a switch or even a faulty wire i would take these steps when troubleshooting something like this going from easiest to hardest 1: test with better batteries (low power can cause the symptoms you describe) lithium or industrial 2: check for loose connections 3: replace the mic 4: replace the wire 5: clean or replace and external switches 6: inspect the amp circuit board for cold solder joints 7: replace all electrolytic capacitors 8: replace transistors 9: send it to a technician for repair 10: if none of the above work huck it in the trash lol another tip: if yo buy your parts on ebay. you can get them about 1/2 the price of radio shack even after shipping
  19. its not exact, but i did measurements in photoshp on my last build and i got roughly around 1-3/8" to 1 1/2" wide and 3-3/4" to 4" long the largest ammo this gun can use is 3.2283" long so the box would have to be slightly longer than this to cover the ejection port.
  20. i think that is a copy paste error? the ICN has a 3+1 style but, the HWT has 3X standard MP-40 style ammo pouches. they should be made of Black leather or leather-like materiel (like vinyl or pleather) on the left is a standard MP40 pouch and rhe right is a 3+1 style
  21. wow! that is looking sweet the trimmed look really has grown on me a lot since making my ICN. i hope you are planning to go EI/centurion we could really use more ROTJ troopers in the ranks..
