How many incenerator troopers are actually out there?
dashrazor replied to Wiggleplum's topic in Incinerator Trooper
yea a special section for all EU stormtroopers would be cool.. it may inspire new TKs to go the EU rout -

i think just myself and Stevenchewbacca are the only approved so far.. one has just submitted for approval and one more is in the works as far as i know... i am not sure if the first ICN still has his costume.. that was before my time here but if so that would make 3 to date i would really like to see more -
i want to be close as well another intersting thing about chronology of the game... troopers from battlefront are 100% ROTJ perhaps the different types of armor were always there???? ROTJ,ANH,ESB image from SW battlefront battlefront is also set in the pre rebellion era
-
i wouldn't recommend that.. for one that is a detail that is most likely changed for game programming (3D skinning) reasons. also you will have no way to strap your cod and butt plates together without a strap showing.. look closely at this artwork from the game (the trooper on the far right has a normal butt plate) unlike the stormtroopers that come from the movies the ICN and other EU troopers from the game are digital art.. and like any form of art you need to interpret it.. this is why the CRL is set up with ROTJ style armor.. i believe that it was the artist intention for the armor to be in that style, that is why the butt, kidney should be one peice and the cod and ab plates should not be cut... for example.. look at this piece of art the details are obviously incorrect.. but you can see that it was the artist intent for this to be a stormtrooper.. make sense??? it is hard for me to to explain

really unless you can make a pauldron out of a very flexible/stretchy material and add padding to lift it up and keep the shape. i dont see how it will look right.. i tried this with my paudron and far too much black showed and the shoulder without the bell was slumped down and uneven from the left.. i would say it would be a nice to have (even for centurion) as it would be very difficult to do without making a new type of pauldron from scratch.
-
the problem with not wearing the shoulder bell is it is impossible to get a regular pauldron to bend like that.. (trust me i tried everthing ) even if you bend the pauldron like i did HERE it still looks really lop sided without the bell under it it was likely just left out of the game because of a limitation in the skinning check out the shadow incinerator, 2nd trooper from the left (this is concept art, but it shows the other shoulder bell) as for the belt, they appear to be rivets but i dont think they will be required under the current standards

i agree!! the symmetrical look really looks nice with the markings. almost makes me want to get myself a EFX -
i just got the RC hailfire droid from the clone wars in the mail today, man this thing is great fun this vid was just after taking it out of the box, the thing spins really good and fires 19 missiles by the remote control its pretty tough as well.. a great toy for young and old but be prepared to stock up on batteries, it requires 6xAA + 3xAAA it also comes with a clone trooper figure... but like most of the new figures is really cheaply made,,, his head fell off after a few mins this toy is set for FUN!!! well worth the 25$

love the helmet bro!! great to see your finally going red... be sure to check out my paint references and texture files you'll likely need to paint the hand guards white to get approved also check out my new weathering method.. it is far more realistic than one can get with paint weathering http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=14798 also the crl's and EI requirements have changed a lot since you first started, you may want to check the imperial reception center for updates -
The ROTJ E-11 blaster prop was built from a MGC L2A3 sub-machine gun replica. in this advanced weaponry section i will provide references and cover the details that set the ROTJ E-11 apart from the ANH/ESB versions. ROTJ E-11 blaster rifle the main features the separate the ROTJ E-11 from props seen in the other films is the lack of Hengstler box and cylinders and wires on the magazine housing.the ROTJ blasters also have different U shaped T-tracks. there is also a solid scope rail, a door catch and 2 hammer greeblies. the front muzzle of the blaster is also flat unlike ANH/ESB style blasters The ROTJ E-11 was built on a MGC L2A3 replica i will provide references for the base first MGC sterling parts breakdown video of blank firing MGC replica (must see ) http://s1082.photobucket.com/albums/j375/fisd1/ROTJ%20blaster/?action=view¤t=e-11ROTJ.mp4
