  1. i cant make that call, the LMO would be the one making the final judgment, but it should resemble the game flamethrower i would think. it is really not that long. its about the same as most bfg's BFG mg34-15 or t-21 my estimate was around 36-38" from stock to tip. i wouldn't make it 20-25" though IMO it'll look stubby
  2. cut out 3x from MDF or wood (it will fit a 3" this walled PVC drain pipe) (use 2 for the front and one for the middle) you could also make them from plastic sheets but wood is more durable barrel cutouts ( i usually just use 5/8" masking tape for marking the cutouts, cutting on the tape line) i use the top templates for all my flamethrowers
  3. do you have a jigsaw? i have templates for that section
  4. more observations as i look closer the flat area seems to be cut off the shoulder strap on both the front and back on most troopers in ESB several had tape holding the straps as well, perhaps the glued straps broke off after filming ANH?
  5. "set for fun" doesn't really work without "troopers helping troopers" and vice versa the two mottos rely on one another greatly
  6. i know its blurry but it looks to me like a square (velcro?) just under the shoulder strap
  7. if you look closely at the front attachment it is raised up from the armor slightly. this leads me to believe snaps or velcro was used to attach the shoulder straps after the armor was put on. note the two troopers next to Leia
  8. velcro was used in the ROTJ suits, perhaps the same was used in ESB? origonal rotj strapping this is pretty much how my strapping is with the exception of the shoulder bells
  9. now that's teamwork thanks Mathias i missed that link. and with that you are approved! great work Varg, yet another fantastic build worthy of the title Centurion. salute
  10. just need a good shot of the crotch snaps, butt and cod.
  11. well i am not 100% convinced that they free float in the back either looks almost like ROTJ shoulder straps that were connected by velcro or glued front and back here is the best photos i could find of the shoulders, not only is there no elastic, IMO they are fastened securely in the back not free floating
  12. the name HAWKEYE is taken by another user, perhaps HAWK EYE or hawkeye4668
  13. the BBC has what you seek ------- also there are a few that sell the pipes here on the boards Vern, tkbondservant sells pipes with the drilling templates attached i believe i also have some pre cut and drilled pipes left for sale
  14. just to clarify, i dont see it as a "must have" for centurion to have the proper scope models at this point. its more of a fun fact
  15. callsign? sorry i am not sure what your asking? do you mean your user name?
  16. and with that you are approved... great job Steve!
  17. i agree with Rob "Looks like you stepped straight off the set" and i love the ESB promo blaster details.correct me if i am wrong, but the other blaster should have a cocking lever as the ESB "stunt" versions were re-used ANH blasters built off a L2A3 base and also have the the scopes were M19/M32 style scope, unlike the resin promo/snowtrooper version that is not built off a actual weapon. if you can provide a visual reference of at least one E11 that had the M38/M40 style of scope in ESB, and a visual proof of an E11 in ESB without a cocking mechanism (other than the promotional/snowtrooper solid resin style E11) i will approve it as well. ESB/ANH version ESB promo/snowtrooper version but that aside, you are approved with the promo blaster and the armor is flawless fantastic job trooper!
  18. status updated! and with that you are approved! yet another fine submission from the Singapore Garrison. great work trooper!
  19. great! i am just waiting on your 501st status to approve i see you requested it so it should be updated shortly..
  20. "Can I make some pics with only the top of the armor to show you this ? " yes!. no need to fully suit up
  21. looks great Steve! could you fix the new shoulder bell? it is rotated to the front quite a bit. other than that minor adjustment you are good to go.
  22. i had similar issues with photo lighting, i used an old projector screen as a reflector for the sunlight . you could try outside. and as long as the background is a solid color you should be good.
  23. good advice. i mostly use masking tape or paper stencils myself . it will not warp the tape like that , is that stencil vinyl ? i have had my vinyl stencil material warp before and i put them in a old book to make them flat for re-use. but that materiel looks really thin compared to what i am used to.
