  1. Very nice indeed, cant wait to see one in person
  2. You can never have enough firepower ----------
  3. Have a great birthday TM
  4. +1..... Joe's helmets really are sweet and very very well made.
  5. Could it be that after the "strip down to cast" T*E replaced the original decals with replicas ??? it would explain the difference in some areas and not in others
  6. I used galvanised chainlink fence support wire (the wire that connects to the posts and supports the fencing)
  7. Well done, its looking excellent..
  8. My wonderful mother in-law has got me an original kenner ESB AT-AT & ROTJ AT-ST, ive been trying to get one of each for a while but keep being outbid on evil-bay when they go for silly prices & when she told me the low price she paid i thuoght there must be loads missing but it turns out only the AT-AT's chin guns are missing so i need to find replacements... anyone know of anywhere that sells them or good replicas??. Thanks in advance.
  9. Have you started on your stock yet ?? i did the same thing and made a working stock for my E11 so if you need any help i would be happy to assist First test fit of the stock Stock unfolded. How it looks now.
  10. Daetrin is completely right, for free anti virus which covers allsorts of other things download AVG free edition i have used it for years and reccomend it to anyone (btw norton is a waste of time it lets allsorts through)
  11. It is 100mm pvc pipe originally intended (i think) for main home waste, which has had a section cut out and then heated up and re-shaped to be smaller... the hinge is very basic... cut the castleated shapes into the ends then use a very small model drill bit to drill most of the way through then use a metal pin (i used a large paper clip) and just glue the pin in one end.
  12. Thanks, i tried to get closer to the screen used rather than the idealized so went for a weathered/beaten about gold/silver paint on a plain band with a simple pin & hole lock to keep them closed.
  13. I was bored the other day so i threw these together, hope they look ok? ---------
  14. Finally done some weathering on this and took a couple of pics in te sunlight. I have been told the original MG34 is 48 inches long in total, this is three quaters of an inch longer than an original... not bad for mostly guesswork i think
  15. Yea that lol ^^^^^^^^
  16. I think it was gino himself who said he made duplicates of the originals then damaged them and sent them back to T*E who sold them i beleive to TE2 ...so infact TE2 has the "touched the insides of a screen used helmet" molds even if they were damaged they have the lineage.
  17. I agree with Smitty on this last part.... From what i can figure out TE2 owns the original molds made and the gino are duplicates(recasts) made during the strange dealings between these people, so the gino ANH are not the "touched the inside of a screen used" as he claims (still) but are permitted recasts (would he still have permission now?).
  18. we have a winner lol
  19. lol noooooo its the neck of a plastic bottle (flavoured water if i remember right)
  20. stens ???, airdropped into england ???? ill have what hes having they are British made Sterling smg's totally different to a sten, the only resemblance is the round barrel shroud and side magazine.
  21. Thanks for the kind words, i know its not perfect but i try to build on a budget with readily available materials (a lot of them found whilst walking the dog). I took 7 pictures of the bipod and only one came out ok... bad light and lots of black paint really doesent help so heres the best pic i could get most of the bipod is made from the same tubing with a bit of epoxy putty filler, some rivets and the nuts in the ends of the short tube nearest the barrel are wheel bearing nuts fron a bicycle. Oh and the muzzle is the neck of a plastic bottle with some epoxy putty shaped/sanded (the cap of the bottle fitted perfectly into the pipe i used for the barrel).
  22. OK... heres the barrel stuff i missed : the main barrel is 32mm pvc waste pipe which is actually 36mm? (same pipe i used for my E11) it has an inner barrel made from the kind of tube you would see holding a shower curtain up, the front sight is a bicycle pump bracket that i chopped about and theres a few bits of alloy and 2 part epoxy putty in there. The bipod is made from the same bar as the inner barrel that has been hammered into an oval shape then one side ground off to create the oval shape then i simply hammered the feet to the right angle, for the joints/mounting parts on the barrel i used some of the same waste pipe which i cut and spliced sections into to make the right size to go over the main barrel. The muzzle you will have to wait for
  23. He he he ... yea i deliberately missed out the muzzle/flash hider as i wanted to see if anyone could guess what its made from, o heres a pic of just that.. i will be posting more pics soon, as i am currently working on the weathering.
  24. Nearly there...
  25. or get the UK guys to send them ... they are everywhere here and cheap too.
