  1. stens ???, airdropped into england ???? ill have what hes having they are British made Sterling smg's totally different to a sten, the only resemblance is the round barrel shroud and side magazine.
  2. Thanks for the kind words, i know its not perfect but i try to build on a budget with readily available materials (a lot of them found whilst walking the dog). I took 7 pictures of the bipod and only one came out ok... bad light and lots of black paint really doesent help so heres the best pic i could get most of the bipod is made from the same tubing with a bit of epoxy putty filler, some rivets and the nuts in the ends of the short tube nearest the barrel are wheel bearing nuts fron a bicycle. Oh and the muzzle is the neck of a plastic bottle with some epoxy putty shaped/sanded (the cap of the bottle fitted perfectly into the pipe i used for the barrel).
  3. OK... heres the barrel stuff i missed : the main barrel is 32mm pvc waste pipe which is actually 36mm? (same pipe i used for my E11) it has an inner barrel made from the kind of tube you would see holding a shower curtain up, the front sight is a bicycle pump bracket that i chopped about and theres a few bits of alloy and 2 part epoxy putty in there. The bipod is made from the same bar as the inner barrel that has been hammered into an oval shape then one side ground off to create the oval shape then i simply hammered the feet to the right angle, for the joints/mounting parts on the barrel i used some of the same waste pipe which i cut and spliced sections into to make the right size to go over the main barrel. The muzzle you will have to wait for
  4. He he he ... yea i deliberately missed out the muzzle/flash hider as i wanted to see if anyone could guess what its made from, o heres a pic of just that.. i will be posting more pics soon, as i am currently working on the weathering.
  5. or get the UK guys to send them ... they are everywhere here and cheap too.
  6. I used to work at a paintball site and for the goggles/masks there we used calotherm, caloclear spray, ----- this stuff really worked there so i dont see why it wouldnt work on trooper lenses... might still have some somewhere i should see if i can find it and do a test
  7. Has to be the "move along" scene i was only little when i first saw it and back then they were all stormtroopers not sandtrooper & stormtroopers
  8. Im sure people would really appreciate that tango'd there seems to be a lack of plans around for this excellent blaster Hey tango'd mate do you remember the E11 thread on the RPF i said i was gonna try to do this for Ā£20 well its looking more like Ā£10 at the most he he
  9. UPDATE: band is now fitted on the stock and has been painted, the blaster body is now in its primer stages and i think its starting to look ok...slow progress so far but it has cost very little (Ā£2 so far with the parts left from my E11 build) heres a pic with the cocking lever attached:
  10. Looking good but you have gone the long route here the pipe blaster is much much easier and does take less work, i salute your patience with the hasbro and undertaking all this work to make it look good.
  11. No hes not obligated to share info... but i thought that is what this community is based on.. well maybe just here on the FISD! as for the offers to find parts i have been told that someone found the part and told him .. he then claimed to have found the exact part he was looking for and that noone would get the "reward" the part turned out ot be the one found by another member, or very close to it which suggests to me that the member pointed him in the right direction.
  12. Well deserved... congratulations
  13. Sorry Troy but.... hahahahahahahhahahahhaaha and monkeys might fly outta my butt! this is the man who offers "rewards" to anyone who finds original parts then keeps the info to himself and says he found the item on his own so he doesent have to pay up on whatever he offered.
  14. Another one who uses the 501'st name when selling armour! armour looks ok
  15. I think theres more chance of a leopard changing to pink stripes with green spots than Gino openly offering something... he must be up to something the man does nothing for the good of anyone but himself
  16. Dont know about phones but when my g/f's laptop died i pulled the speakers from that, quite small too... still gotta test them to see how they sound tho
  17. confirmed.... they were plastic runners!
  18. This is interesting .... "Is this armour 501st/Garrison Approved? That's simply a meaningless sales pitch used to sell armour. NO armour is guaranteed to be approved by the 501st Garrison. Even if you purchased a previously 501st approved costume it does not mean it will automatically be cleared with you wearing it. The procedure does not rest entirely on the armour it also depends on how it fits you. Nonetheless, this is very accurate armour and provided it is built correctly to fit you properly, it will most certainly sail through the strictest of approvals." this has to be the first e-bay seller ive seen this, most will try to pitch it that their armour will be accepted straight from the box.
  19. You are correct there is a hinge on top as i have put an on/off switch in the feeder and im using a magnet to hold the top down, not sure what im going to do with the muzzle yet but i will have to start thinking about that soon as im almost doe with the electrics
  20. "Also he said, that he never would sell me something from his stuff, cause i have a TM Trooperarmor. Which is , in his eye , a bad recast." This made me laugh! as we all know his helmets (anh) are recasts of T*E, by recast i mean he uses a duplicate of T*E's molds there might have been some strange permission involved in the dark dealings of Matt, Gino & the others involved.. but even by his own description of recasting his are recasts. In my own humble opinion TM's products will allways be far superior (and no i dont own any.. i wish)... not just for the fact that he has produced them himself but also the service from the man who from what ive seen here is allways friendly & punctual with his delivery. Funny how he still claims on his site that his helmets" touched the indide of a screen used"
  21. to be totally honest, yes his buckets are nice... but nothing better than anything else thats well put together and i think the reason for the demand on them is that up untill now they have been unobtainable.. human nature is to want what we cant have!
  22. He knows it will be recast, and that makes me suspicious immediately... what is he up to ??
