  1. Sorry bud here it is i hope....... http://www.therpf.com/f9/nu-blaster-da-house-sw-course-jabbas-110560/
  2. another thread from the rpf this one identifies where the small scope part on top of the rail is from ( the jabbas palace guard blaster donor weapon)
  3. this may be of interest vern a thread over at the rpf about the "hammers" and their origins http://www.therpf.com/f9/hammers-rotj-blaster-14571/
  4. As you said Mark (sskunky) may know more as he was going the same route with an MGC recently
  5. scratch build it - i did and it was fun figuring out how and what to do as i went .... cheap too (about £10 using items i found around the house and had left over from other builds)
  6. ahhh i see.... if i remember correctly the hammers were believed to be from a winchester rifle of some type and the sight part at the front of the scope rail was the actual sight from a pistol used to make one of the blasters in the movie but again i cant remember which or where i read this (poss the RPF) i dont think the catch or rail have been identified yet, but im very interested in how you get on here as i still need these same parts for my ROTJ scratch build.
  7. Im guessing youve allready tried contacting Steve (tango'd) Vern hes the only person i kknow of who had all parts for ROTJ E11's
  8. I have 2 of his helmets hes a great guy and does some great work.
  9. someone please correct me if im wrong here but the MGC sterling barrel screws onto the receiver so the allen screw could end up in any position depending on where the threads were cut on the 2 pieces meaning that any position is technically correct?
  10. I have an ongoing ROTJ E11 scratch build which you can see here ----------- might be worth shooting a pm to tango'd fett as he used to make the scope, rail & greeblies for rotj e11's
  11. trekkie traitor ...... just kidding, the photos look great.
  12. Its plastic track originally, I used "E-Track" - the stuff used for sliding doors available from most DIY/hardware suppliers all you do is cut the outer uprights off...
  13. get the second one for a good price and you cant go wrong but you may also want to look here for pipe builds etc as they can be done very cheaply with a little imagination
  14. I Was thinking exactly the same and they would have been readily available at the time of filming and they are available in black, (the G17K ones available now look ok---------
  15. yes the originals would have been imperial (he he the empire gets everywhere) but as its hard to tell the diference theese days and metric are easier to get hold of you might as well go with those. If you get stuck and cant find any shoot me a message and ill send you some, i work in an M.H.E workshop so we have loads sitting around there
  16. 6mm thread and whatever length you need, they usually have a std sized head for the type you want and should be available in any hardware stores, halfords might even have some, try asking at the bike counter if they have a couple of 6mm allen bolts. Im asuming you mean for the muzzle ???
  17. i have to agree with Joe here, and at least he admits they are re-cast in the auction which is more than some have done in the past!
  18. Reeally kevin?? because your ebay account has only been active for 12 months - grrrr this annoys me! Note! ive seen that grappling hook somewhere before too... possibly the RPF but im sure it was an alloy one-off then??
  19. duct tape is all you need... remember its like the force - it has a light side a dark side and it binds the galaxy together, he he sorry had to do it.
  20. +1.... me likey ill take one in chrome dribble dribble
  21. Presactly right, the one in the pics is my first bucket which is the one ill be using... the FX one will be cleaned up and go onto ebay or be sold on.
  22. Well i finally got 5 mins to myself to test fit the armour my better half got me for my b-day and its not too bad, I will not be using the helmet that came with it so thats not a problem, the armour itself will need some adjustments, and the buttons need replacing/ re-colouring and ill have to get some better boots but im happy with it myst the mud monster dog just had to get into the pics
  23. That looks to my amatuer eye like very thin ABS/plastic (with very soft detail) with velcro stuck under it, just as TM has been saying all along.
