I have x2 origanl Graflex 3cells one Luke ANH and Luke ESB the chassis were done buy Master Yoda at FXSABERS and i have instasled Evrs Crystal focus sound boards in them they are unreal i will have to post some pics up also have done all Vaders sabers to all origanal MPP flash guns and all with Ervs sound boards oh yes and OBwans ANH weathed saber and a Luke ROTJ .

Thats what i did Rich on my 2mm shins i glued the elastic right up to the hooks , so i have quite a bit of tension , holds evreything in buitifully plus i have done a few troops in them this way with no faults to date

Hi Alan and welcome are you going to be joining the UKG ? and where in the UK are you from , would be a good choice TM but dose all depend on budget , but imho the TM is worth every penny , just keep shoting Paul PMs he will awnser you as you can imagian he is a very busy man . look forward to your out come .

Thats right Paul we are all on the same side troopers helping troopers , but when setting high standards as for Centurion status i find it dishartning when in some cases these must haves are not being met , because i was on the understanding that Centurion status was to be as seen on screen nothing more nothing less , i am proud of my EIB status that i accived here on the FISD , i would just like to see the standards for Centurion being maitained as it has been for EIB status , sorry if you think iam comming over to anal, but imho thats my belives and thats why i love this hobby to recreate the perfect stormtrooper that we grown to love on that big screen . Sorry to go of topic , Alex you are doing a slended job so far love the armour mate but dont hesitate for any advice as Gary mentioned , Billy and Gary certenly helped me out when i first got in to the hobby , like i say troopers helping troopers

Hi Brendon, good tip , like Karin said you can use superglue which is another good method , i done it with real paint runs on my Gino v3 lid when i was spraying it , it was great just needed to spay a little to much in the area then by tilting the helmet side to side or slightly downwords let the run find its own way with a nice drip on the end

Hi Rob how you doing mate ? , i could not tell you on the 1.5 mm TM suits never had one ,i only have the 2mm and 1mm , i know Mark (firebladejedi) had one i think give him a shout and iam preety much think Dan (R2DAN) has to, hope that helps mate

Hi Karin oh yes really coming along niceley i would not worry about making the lines to perfect as the screen used helmets were quite scuffy looking

I find the the 2mm capped gloss TM is best suited for trooping more robust , i find my 1mm TM is more prone for cracks or spilts due to the origanl straping on the brackets where the screws are a lot of presure on those parts theres no two ways about it it will split at some point , when trooping out comes the gaffa tape but hay thats what they did on the origanls , so if hardcore trooping go for the 2mm TM , and if for light trooping or display with out a doudt 1mm TM
