  1. The lack of screws going out the back to secure them in your helmets can make them harder to install. But there's nothing wrong with the shape of them overall. But you might still want to consider buying from Keith or sskunky instead to ensure you're not buying recasts and know you'll get good quality.
  2. "Hero" helmets were just helmets made for close up shots on screen. Not named "hero" because of Han & Luke. "Hero" props can be anything made of a higher quality than the other props. If you have two prop guns in a movie, one made from rubber, and one real blank firing gun for the shooting scenes, the blank firing gun is the "hero" version.
  3. He could, but that would be wrong. Oval teeth is only a consequense of many years of softened up helmet moulds and people building kits without looking enough at reference pictures.
  4. Elastic all the way. It's not the elastics fault you're tearing it up; you're not treating it properly. Also, don't cheap out and get crappy elastics. It can also be doubled over in the ends where you add the snaps for more durability.
  5. They wear painted ROTJ armour with backpacks and indeed a DLT-19.
  6. You can always cut the foreams and shins shorter by cutting at the wrist and ancle. Thighs too can be shortened by reworking the tops. But that's a little more work than the shins and forearms.
  7. No that's less than 10 hours. There is 3600 seconds in an hour. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  10. Both are fine. But if you wear the silk you need to have the handguards stiched to the gloves correctly. If you wear the rubber gloves the hand guards should have loops going around your hand.
  11. Several makers have offers to built the kit for you, for an extra fee. Do more research on what kit fits you and your budget the best, then send them an email and ask if they can build it for you.
  12. No. But it doesn't matter either. Just don't overdo it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. Belt assembly 101: Add male snaps to ab plate. Lay canvas belt on torso and feel for the snaps. Mark the spots. Add female snaps to marked spots. Drill a small hole in the middle of the plastic belt Lay the platic belt on canvas centered over the female snaps and through the small hole, mark the position on belt. Make a hole at the marked position of the canvas and insert the male half a cap rivet from behind and through the canvas and plastic belt. Add female half of cap rivet and hammer them together. Make loops for dropboxes from white elastic and rivet them to the backside of inner the dropbox halves (using cap rivets before you glue the belt boxes together). The top of the boxes should not extend far below the plastic belt, but almost touch it. Insert canvas belt through the loops all the way until they stop at the center cap rivet. Repeat step 5, 6 and 7 but with the edges of the belt. You want to mark the holes with the belt laid over the ab plate, not flat on a table. Otherwise it will strech too much when worn. Add rivet covers Slide belt boxes back to the edge where they should be stopped by the cap rivet on each end. Snap belt to ab plate by sticking your fingers in between plastc and canvas belt and push. Congrats. You now have an accurately assembled belt.
  14. The Incinerator is based on ROTJ armour just like the armour used by all troopers in battlefront.
  15. Read all of Mark's thread while you're at it. Best build thread in a long while.
  16. Nobody really cares if you have to use glue or not. The point is to have the brow stay where you want it. On some helmets you need it, on some you don't. It maily depends on which trim you have, and the lenght of it. It needs friction to stay put. If there's too little friction, help nature out with some small dabs of glue.
  17. I regard them as bad. Others are perfectly content with them. But I think what the seller is asking is 2x the cost of a hasbro + a rattlecan of black paint.
  18. Instead of focusing on getting the stuff inside the gun. Make sure it works outside the gun first. Then figure out how to put it inside.
  19. Looks like an old hasbro toy.
  20. Maybe stay on topic? This one is about the cost of armour. Not blaster materials.
  21. OpenDNS servers are also a rather nice alternative for those who prefer less google-snooping. 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 Btw, it should be resolved world-wide by now. If not, it's more likely to be a fault at your ISP, than at our end.
