  1. I haven't archived anything actually. I don't know who does that? Anyway, was this the render?
  2. Ah... Let the hunt begin!
  3. But this render is white?
  4. I think it's a little bit on the thick side, but there are plenty of helmets in the legion with thicker ears than that so if you're happy with it I say you should stick with it.
  5. It could be so bad that it differs between platform releases, IE it might be white on PS3 but grey on PC or any other combination. But with the already posted renders as well as this in-game screenshot I'm fairly confident that the CRL is incorrect or at least incomplete in this regard, and it would be wrong to punish anyone for following the few good references we have. So what I'm saying is that white drop boxes should be okey. ----------
  6. Well done Alexander. Approved!
  7. Looks like you got in the middle of some crossfire and forum drama. It's not your fault and don't worry about it. Most of us here are quite nice. If you go with RS and do even a decent job at assembling it you should have no trouble joining the Swiss Garrison. I've met a few of them and they are very nice people. Try to find Adrian Vögeli, he's Swiss and has a very nice RS suit. So I imagine he might be able to give you some good advice, along with what you can find here on the forum. Good luck, and remember to make a build thread as well so the rest of us can bask in the armour goodness. (And give you some help and advice along the way)
  8. I'm happy to see that these aren't recasts, and congratulations to Kevin for making such nice handguards that they could be mistaken. I'm closing this thread since that's what you guys seem to want, and the case seems pretty much closed anyway.
  9. That is awesome. Nice work Tom!
  10. I have no experience with such modifications and I have not seen anyone do them either, so I can only point to how the real suits are made, not what you should do in order to get there. There may very well be many ways to skin a cat.
  11. You get to choose your own. And you keep it for life.
  12. The real suits have a butt plate that is smaller than the kidney, and the kidney in turn has a cut out that aligns it with the smaller butt plate.
  13. Something like that, yes.
  14. Yup. It is AM, so of course it's not a perfectly accurate armour, but this is how I would make mine if I had one.
  15. That is correct. We're only counting individuals, not awards. But it looked good none-the-less.
  16. I'm glad you made that change.
  17. I think it looks just right.
  18. Yeah, that's how I remember it as well.
  19. I know Rick330 posted in that thread showing his different suits over the years. Try looking through his posts to see if you can find the thread. I think the topic was about showing off your older suits to show what improvements you've made over the years.
  20. Like they said. Use rubber gloves and cotton/lycra glove liners. It's very comfortable even in warm weather.
  21. If there's any space between your holstered blasters muzzle and the bottom of the holster itself you can safely trim that off.
  22. Definitely go full sandy. HWT's are really not my cup of tea.
  23. Excellent. Now just put some white paint on those side-rivets. Approved.
  24. I would recommend making the ear bump stripes a little larger. But yes. this is approved.
  25. You may want to reconsider your knee belt attachment since the rivet is in the wrong spot. It's supposed to be in the top corner. But still, approved.
