  1. And how do you know that there was absolutely no tan showing at the edges of the holster? And I just showed you that the strap lengths varied. I'm not going to get sucked into more worthless arguments with you Vern. Either show us what some proof or be quiet.
  2. This is the holster pictured, and it sure is not as ANH as you you'd like to believe. Now stop whining.
  3. No, I don't think that's needed. It's a lot of work specifying something quite unimportant.
  4. For the EIB programs yes. But since strap length is not specified then we have to estimate it. And there is always a bit of leeway even when deploying.
  5. And the CRL is a living document that changes and is not the absolute truth. Take it for what it is - Guidelines.
  6. Also, whilst taking a look at ROTJ about the belt loops, which I'll admit I was wrong about (I do not know all the CRLs by heart mind you) I noticed that the strap lengths varied, which disproves your claims as well. Long straps Short straps
  7. Regardless of whether they had loops or not, since some wear holsters and some don't the hole issue is moot since not all of they had holsters.
  8. They can be just for show. But they do do a great job at holding the strapping together.
  9. But that holster has no belt loops. So what we can tell from all this is that ROTJ is a big mess and not much can be taken for certain.
  10. Yeah, some minor adjustments and he should be good to go for NG.
  11. These might help: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/category/2-armor-assembly/ In short though: Use the males on the tabs and the females on the elastic straps.
  12. Make sure you replace the philips screws as well.
  13. Only the left side rivets are painted. And please post an action photo for the EIB page.
  14. They were painted on screen. So it's not something idealized.
  15. Very nice! I see you've gone for the hattrick with the three best armours you can get.
  16. FYI, I was only up to 380 posts last month. Not that I'm counting, but I just read the newsletter.
  17. I think there's a post requirement of 5 posts or something.
  18. I don't see a problem with it either as long as it's proportionally correct.
  19. Easy pass there buddy. Only thing I can think of is to paint the side rivets white, and raise the ab belt a bit. Approved. Now you just need to post an action photo for our EIB page.
  20. I'm glad you will change the knee belt position. It will look a lot better once you do.
  21. Approved! May I just recommend that you shorten the crotch strap to avoid that "tail" look you get when the butt plate hangs down too much. Now you must upload an action picture to be used on the EIB-page.
  22. Starwarshelmets.com (great site if you haven't seen it already) has a sweet image showing off the wonkyness of the original helmets, and why the symmetrical ones look weird.
  23. I would imagine that the 501st forum runs an outdated version of it's forum backend due to them not keeping up with adapting their custom tweaks to the forum updates, so now they are so far behind that tapatalk does not support their old forum software. I have no insight to the legion forums, but that's my guess at least.
